You’re welcome. Btw checked that rarewaves has it too - might be more cheaper with shipping. They even have it discounted.
Might even get one for myself if there’s any left during the next -10% off (end of month)

Without going fully OT, but since you mentioned RareWaves, I never used them (I'm only familiar with them appearing as a third party seller on Amazon UK), and I've seen their name come up a lot recently on the forums.

May I ask you: how are they, in terms of service (packaging? IOSS registered? do they have a habit, like certain retailers, of selling old stock re-sealed, as new, or are they good on that front?)?

They have some stock of a few Network BDs I missed, so I'll likely place an order with them next week.

thank you

I've bought a lot of them. There are pros and cons:

+ cheap shipping
+ currently IOSS registered (but they had problems a few months ago)
+ no resealed stock (at least I haven't gotten any)
+ regular discounts (including usually -10% at the last weekend of a month or so)
+ good customer support
- bad packaging (have gotten a few damaged items but usually I have spare plastic cases of several types ready. Once got a water-damaged Wicker Man slip cover which they compensated).
- very slow shipping to Europe (ranges from 2 weeks to 2 months I think)
- shipping is not tracked and you may get same order split into multiple even while the paper that comes with one package mentions all the items (although now my local post system has some tracking actually available for me for anything sent to me, but it's confusing)

Thank you for your extensive feedback, T4ffer.

One last question: when you say bad packaging, do they usually use thin cardboard envelopes (like, say, Amazon UK), or do they use, for example, paper envelopes, barely padded with thin bubblewrap (like Amazon US)?

thanks again

FYI - I get tracking from Rarewaves. Sometimes I need to ask for it, but I usually get it. Also, you get points which add up and typically covers S&H for me. I have gotten some boxes from Rarewaves - not typical, but for larger box sets this has happened.

Ask when? I have checked the numbers on their packages and its never a valid tracking number.

The tracking number on their site is usually valid for me. The problem is that they break up the orde and don't provide the additional tracking numbers on their site. I ask them in an email to provide me those and they usually do
I really never stress about this because it comes via local mail service. If I know I am going to be away for a while, a simple hold mail request protects me.

Pre-ordered it right away.

Was anyone else having problems paying with Paypal? I selected that, and it kept closing the window, and saying there was a problem connecting with Paypal.

It was up at 11.20, so all the MANY emails saying "set your alarms for midday to get one of the quad posters or prints as one of the first to order" were all a bit pointless!

I finish the 31 days of Hammerween on my YT channel today, I covered Kronos a few weeks ago. I'm Hammered out!

A 5 disc 4K with 2 big books and bespoke packaging is NOT expensive at 93 Canadian. It may be more than you want to pay but almost everyone thought this would be more than it has been.

Is the LE Captain Kronos set site-exclusive?
