I hope Mann returns to direct at least another episode. Specially if there's any continuation to that flashforward (which he shot).

First two episodes are available.

Hope people won't let this vanish into obscurity like they did last year with the 2nd season of Winning Time.

Same here as I think the series is heavily underappreciated, but given Warner's recent track record, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled the plug as they've been doing on other programming such as "Warrior".

I have been watching S2 on the BBC app.

Does anyone notice it? Or is it on the BBC version only? I noticed slight but obvious focal length distortion on many shots.

Not anymore. I don't recall such a vast drop in quality between seasons in a long time. I mean, it was already noticeable within season 1, but that second season was crap.

What a waste...

Wow - just the opposite for me - I really enjoyed S02 (it redeemed the cliffhanging first season) and from the looks of the ending doesn't look to be a Season Three (most everything wrapped up). What a great series! 4/5 stars.

No more Season 3. Canceled at Max.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv...ax-1235917626/

I thought the first season was great.
Haven't seen S2 yet so don't know if there are any open endings.
Apparently they had more to tell.

I finished watching S2 on BBC, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also think 2 seasons is the perfect length for this show. Just watch S2 somehow. There is no open-ended storyline.

I got the S1 blu-ray from Amazon UK. It was region-free so here's hoping they do the same with S2.

I got the S1 set too. I wished there were some behind-the-scene content in it instead of just the show.

I've got the UK release. Unfortunately some darker scenes are rife with banding and posterization so it's often like watching a stream rather than a blu-ray. Now the show's wrapped, i'm hoping Warner will put out a complete series set in North America so we can have some competently authored discs.
