Sorry to hear that. I did see a post mentioning something about it. I'm assuming you can get another job in banking whenever you want so maybe you're enjoying the manufacturing work more despite the paycut.

Neighbor has a new dog now- a Rottweiler. Of course this one run gets to run loose as well. It was in the middle of the road last night and just stood there. I had to completely come to a stop and go around him. If that was a truck going 50+ it would have met its end.

Some people never learn. There are no bad dogs...only bad owners.
Truth.

Yeah..it’s hit or miss for most people but a pretty fun popcorn flick with some memorable lines.

I doubt the box set will sell out anytime soon so I’ll hang back for when it goes on sale.

I saw this back in 95 as well and can't remember anything about it. I still picked up the UHD. It's only 20% sold out so I imagine it's going to be around a while.

The bank is actually in the process of being acquired.

The way I feel right now at work at 4:19am, I’d be happy to go home and crash until I have to be back to work tonight. Not that I could sleep that long but I’d be willing to try.

Red Letter Media did their annual Halloween Best of the Worst show.

They finally reviewed Devil Story which is one of the worst films ever made but is still worth a watch. If you’ve never watched it, just go for it and report back.

You can stream it on Tubi or purchase it from VinSyn.

They begin the review at the 1hr mark.

I gained a much higher level of appreciation for my movie collection after spending a week with my niece and her family and being subjected to...satellite television and Netflix The horrors! Nothing but ad-supported junk and crappy DTV movies. We're in election season so every. single. commercial break. had at least one ad for the local hooligans running for office and everybody knows those are cringe no matter how you slice it. Then there are the pharma company ads pushing drugs that cause side effects like...you ready...CANCER Cancer is not a f**king side effect. It f**king kills you. I couldn't wait to get back home. The time spent with my niece and her kids was nice, though.

I bought the movie from VS just because of RLM. I have it already and waiting for the right time to give it a spin.

I forgot we fall back. I looked at my microwave it was an hour ahead of my phone and I was thinking what the hell? Then it hit me. Time for one more movie.

I got off work an hour earlier than normal but still worked the same eights hours due to the clocks going back. I'll take that extra hour of time off It's 6:33am now and I'm probably going to hit Chili's at 10am. In the meantime, do I surf the net, play some PS4 and clean up a bit or do I watch a movie? Sundays are for epic films or at least films that got a bit more to them. Schindler's List is a Sunday movie. Tombstone is a Sunday movie. LOTR on Sundays. So I like the idea of watching a movie now but I'll more likely just mess around with some Just Cause 3.

My Sunday afternoon will be devoted to the re-release of Godzilla Minus One. It's playing on one of the mid-size screens which is nice since I was expecting it to be relegated to a small screen.

Oh man! You are in for a treat, my friend. It looks like the film is down to less than 1000 units now. I did not expect it to sell out so quickly.

Yeah...you definitely need to be in the right mood to watch it along with a few drinks. It also helps if you consider it a horror/comedy.

I have an anger management group that I'm doing online from 9am to 10am. Last week was my first time and the check-in took about fifteen minutes or so. The class seemed to go by pretty quickly. I'm wondering what I'll do afterward. It's embarrassing how simple my life is. It's my weekend and I don't really have much that I have to do. I've already showered so I won't go for a bike ride. Maybe I'll end up at Costco and then Barnes & Noble. I wanted to get a few more groceries so maybe I'll hit a nearby Walmart.

I could have headed out to B&N and done the class there so that way once it's over, I'd already be out and about but it's probably too late for that. I'll be using public transportation today so I wouldn't make it there by 9am so I'd have to start the class while on the bus. Anyway, what I really feel like right now is getting some popcorn from the theater and then hitting Cold Stone and I could do that but we'll see.

Anyone wear contacts and order from 1800-Contacts? They have this stupid exam crap you do online to keep your prescription current and you have to do it annually which is a bit overkill. They kept emailing me saying my prescription was about to expire. I finally gave in the night before and ordered a few boxes which came to almost $400.

Then they email me saying I have to take the exam first before they can ship. They just love making money off those silly exams. So they’re holding my contacts hostage until I pay them the exam fee and complete it. Moreover, they hit my card.

So I canceled the order. Screw ‘em. I’ll just go to the eye doctor and get a real exam and a prescription that will be good for 3 years.
