Turns out, many movies shot on 35mm happen to actually more teal than we're used to from old masters made for VHS, DVD and (early) HD.

Noyce did supervise and asked for tweaks to it… based on the Disc Connected podcast they kind of mention it but not teal… but basically they let him do what he wanted

So i guess it, is what it is.

Maybe a few, but this sudden acceptance that most of these movies coming out with teal gradings always looked that way is a bit suspect to me. Surely if that aesthetic was so common in the day, it would be a look associated with the 70's, 80's and 90's and not feel like a modern style. I not saying this particular film is wrong, but it seems like on this board the pendulum at times swings wildy from one extreme to another.
