Very cool month! Although initially I thought "Choose Me" was 1988's "Call Me" and got even more excited, lol.

Haha, listed my Biollante disc without a picture (not home right now, was going to upload the picture when I got home), and the disc was sold within five minutes.

Wow, totally didn't see this one coming today, on Friday the 13th!

Sometimes we do get lucky on this day, whereas we will not be betrayed by the Criterion Collection!

The Chaplin film is a great addition, as is the Hackman movie, plus that Godzilla movie. Whoa.

Looks like The Wages of Fear is getting a new Blu-ray, so the UHD will have the upgraded Blu-ray.

It's quite a nice surprise because I thought the March announcements wouldn't be made until Monday or Tuesday.

Thief, Night Moves, and Wages of Fear for me

I have been wanting to watch all of these titles, but never got to them I started watching Thief years ago, but only watched 10 minutes of it so now I need to watch the entire film.

Stoked for Choose Me, it's a tremendous Altman-style look at a bunch of oddballs. Lesley Ann Warren and Keith Carradine are dynamite. Let's welcome Night Court's John Laroquette to the Criterion Collection!

Another Warner Archive 4K upgrade. I wonder how many more Criterion has in the tank.

Since I don稚 own it in any format, Choose Me is my headliner today, but I知 almost certainly in for upgrades to Night Moves, Thief, and Wages of Fear.

I知 now very concerned for my future spending if this trend to release Warner Archive films in 4k continues. But I知 already starting a list in my head.

Wow, what a month! I love ‘Choose Me’ - great performances from Lesley Ann Warren and Keith Carradine particularly, and that slinky soundtrack from Teddy Pendergrass is wonderful. Can we have ‘Trouble in Mind’ and ‘Equinox’ next please, Criterion? ‘Night Moves’ is a masterpiece, one of my favourite films of the ‘70s. I’ll be upgrading ‘Thief’ and ‘The Wages of Fear’ (love the new artwork) to 4K. Intrigued by ‘A Woman of Paris’ too..

Well minus Shaft I think King Kong in 4K is a huge possibility maybe also An American in Paris, there's probably others but those are the two titles I can think of at the moment.

Also more Gene Hackman in 4K is just amazing with also the fact that The French Connection is also rumored to be coming in 4K in 2025 I wonder what other Hackman stuff is coming in 2025.

Given the importance of it in Criterion's history, I think King Kong would be a holy grail and it would absolutely get something akin to the Citizen Kane treatment if they got it back.
