While on PS Store PS5, they highlighted this trailer for the story. It gives some idea of the graphics anyway.

In Mafia 4, you can ride horses now it looks like. I guess this takes place in the 1800s to early 1900s maybe?

Early 1900s. It'd be cool if we can ride horses and drive cars. Back when I first played Red Dead Redemption for the first time, I really wanted to drive that federal guy's car around the map

Horses and cars would be cool in Mafia 4. I don't know if motorcycles were before cars. I know bicycles were around before cars, so maybe there will be motorcycles again. Seems weird Hanger 19 (name of developer?) would create all new motorcycles in Mafia 1 remake, but not add them to this newest game.
I'd also like a day/night cycle finally in this series, but this developer seems very much against it like Insomniac Games is for their Marvel Spider-Man PS games.

Yeah, Rockstar should've made DLC in Undead Nightmare that allowed for drivi9ng that town car just sitting there. Same for RDR2. Still no cars in that game.

Of course then I'd be wondering about the first airplanes, but that was years later.
In real life, I've been on jets, but if I can help it, I no longer want to fly on those giant pieces of heavy metal parts, but mostly cause the landing is very painful pressure to my ears when the pilot descends too fast which is most times. ( don't know how those Fighter Jet Pilots can handle all that air pressure plus the G Forces.

The first mass produced motorcycles were made in Germany in 1894, with production in other countries starting not too long after (UK in 1896, US in 1898), so it's not impossible. But early models tended to look more like a bicycle with a motor than what people consider a motorcycle now; 'true' motorcycles came about in WW1, IIRC.

So it's definitely possible for a game set in the early 1900s, although they might look different than people are used to if they tried to be historically accurate.
