Why is Hermione flicking someone off on the cover? That's what it looks like, they should have changed it.

I have contacted The Leaky Cauldron, hopefully at least one of these sites will tell somebody they know at Warner they prefer Blu-Ray. Warner really should choose a side, and they need to takes hints from the sales of movies like 300. Maybe they want a few more tests with titles like Harry Potter. If all or most of the Warner movies sale better on Blu-Ray, I could imagine Warner Brothers dumping HD DEAD early next year.

Same thing with Wings of Honemaise (anime program) Japanese version disc.

You will encounter a menu at the opener which requires you to pick either English or Japanese. If you select English, you will get an FBI warning....... lolz

I don't get it.. I think

It is 5 discs, a the 5th disc is OotP with all the extras. Plus, 2 additional crap-def DVDs?

So the only chances of getting HD extras are on the 5th disc? I suppose discs 1-4 will include ALL the extras included in the previously released DVD versions? In standard-def probably.

If they want me to give a damn about the extras, they better come high definition!

Yeah that sucks, but I don't really watch the extras anyway.

Warner has the Harry Potter 1-5 Limited Edition Giftset up for preorder.

Right now if you use this coupon code JLBM.
It is good for 25% off (off their already low prices) any purchase through the end of this month.

There price is $110.95 (22.19 per movie)
After Discount $83.22 (16.64 per movie, isn't too bad)

Here's a link to the Warner's site that lists not only the Harry Potter giftset, but all the other available titles under this offer. Remember, you won't see the final low price until you click on the "place in cart" or "pre-order" button and then enter the coupon code. And Harry Potter's price gives you free shipping, so anything else you include in your order will also have the free shipping. Depending upon which state you live, you may also get it tax free. Enjoy.

Once the 7th and final movie is out, they probably will bring out extended editions in a mega gift set.

Default Buy Giftset from Warner or wait for Amazon?

I see that with the special promo code mentioned in this thread that the Harry Potter gift set will be around $83 + tax (depending on where you live) which is a really good deal. I just checked Amazon and I only see the individual movies for sale...so I guess my question is should I buy from Warner Home Video now using the promo code or should I just wait until Amazon offers it for pre-order? I am an Amazon Prime member which means I can get next day shipping for $3.99. So, wait for Amazon or order now from Warner?

Amazon currently has the Harry Potter movies listed as separate releases not in a boxset. I was under the assumption that they were only related as a giftset.

God bless them for making it 20 dollars more to get the regular BD packaging. Damn uniformity!
