Well, according to this review, Kinowelt released the disc using some master they had in their posession. I imagine that an American distributor would use a different (hopefully better) master for the domestic release.

One of the user reviews also indicates that some of the dirt/scratches/dark lighting may be intentionally inserted by the director. So, who knows how the American release will turn out?

2 stars for the movie?! WTF?!!
