I was thinking the same, but it would be a shame. Excellent, unique curation, combined with Indicator-quality releases. They might be my dark horse favorite label.

I concur.

I can't overstate just how much I'm praying that they manage to release Let The Corpses Tan. I spoke to them via email in 2023 asking about whether they would be doing a double release with Strange Colour... . They said the rights for that were too complicated, but that they were "working on the disc now" for Corpses.

I think it's less that they are niche titles (which I suppose they are), but more an issue of brand exposure/name recognition for Anti-Worlds itself. I can think of other labels that could have released the same films and had no problems shifting them in greater number because of consumer brand loyalty. I suppose the issue is you can't just generate that out of thin air.

I was introduced to the label because I was explicitly interested in seeing a film (Holiday), so the label was immaterial. I was so impressed by that release that I began exploring the catalogue further and never looked back.

I wonder if they'd have done better shifting units if they were explicit about the number of copies produced ala Radiance. For all the negatives, creating a bit of FOMO has it's upsides, especially for a fledgling label.
