Sony Rewards offering free Blu-ray with register of 5 discs

They replied again, this time just saying something about Sony corporate making the decision to have each brand manage their own rewards program. Not sure what that has to do with this issue, which I told them.

I'm trying to cash in my Sony points but there isn't really much I'm interested in. So I'm toying with the idea of getting a Google Play gift card and using that for movie codes from them. The problem is I don't like using Google Play so whatever movie I get I want it to port to movies anywhere. Is there anyway to tell what movies port and what don't? I checked a handful of their listed movies but didn't see the MA symbol on anything. Help please!

If you use VUDU/FAH as your preferred digital provider, you can also use Google Play gift card to pay to purchase movies. Need to use the VUDU/FAH app downloaded from the Google Play store. That way, you can still use Google Play gift card to buy movies that are non-MA.

Also, to check what movies are MA eligible for porting, go to the MA website and search for the movie there. If available, then it can port.

I called them. They said those expired Sep 30. They are not going to do anything about it. I asked where did it say the codes I received 2 years ago expired Sep 30? You can try calling them. Maybe if enough people complain about it, they might reconsider.

The program officially ends tonight, so I think we're definitely in the "too little, too late" category now, unfortunately.

Still can't log into acct, just says acct is disabled and to contact CS. Redeemed some gift cards several weeks ago to zero out acct and they never shipped any gift cards. They were unresponsive to messages. Ugh

I can't say what was there several weeks ago, but when I checked more recently, only digital gift cards were available. Are you sure they didn't e-mail you codes?

For what it's worth, I got 4 Target gift cards from this program when they announced it was shutting down. For whatever reason, my email put one of them in my regular Inbox and the other 3 in my Spam folder. So maybe check there (assuming your email has one).

I got three sets of e-mails:

1. Order Confirmation
2. The gift cards themselves
3. "Shipping" notices (even though the GCs were codes)

I used 5,500 points for target gift cards sometime between 11/13 and 12/10. I haven't received any emails or if I did, I cannot find them. I was able to confirm the timeframe from the club emails that show your point balance at the top.
Were the emails from sony or a third party?

Hate to break it to you. But Sony won’t help you. I had a physical GC that was lost couple years ago and Sony refused to restore my points or resend the GC. That’s why I chose e-GC since. With the program ended last week, it’s easy for them to just ignore you.
