Just an FYI that Amazon is raising prices on a lot of these coupon titles by 3 to 4 bucks. I went back today to see if I could find anything else from what I ordered yesterday and noticed the difference….

That's normal amazon. Their prices go up and down constantly with no apparent rhyme or reason. Half the time I think they're just trying to get people to bite when it drops back down again. You can't always trust their low stock warnings either.

That's why it's important to keep track of prices (with Amazon there are price history tools) and it's also important to compare prices to other retailers instead of just buying because of a 30% discount.

Most of the Criterion titles included in the 30% discount for my region have the same price they had last time I checked, some changed a few cents, a few went up a few dollars (but still cheaper after the 30% discount) and a few went down a few dollars. All will still end up cheaper than the B&N 50% sale.

It's the same with some non-Criterion titles I've checked

I definitely agree with this assessment. It's worth it alone for the TV adaptations of the Sherlock Holmes stories with Cushing as Holmes.

Read the thread. Coupons are by geographic locations. Los Angeles is Southwest.

The Irwin Allen: Master of Disaster collection has a 30% coupon in my region (Midwest/Great Lakes), bringing it down to ~$55 - good value for 7 films, or 9 if you include the extended editions. Can’t comment on the quality or rewatch value of the films themselves, of course.
