We're very happy to announce our partnership with Aniplex to bring an anime series based on Ghost of Tsushima: Legends to Crunchyroll in 2027!!!

Crunchyroll announced during Sony Group Corporation’s CES 2025 press conference today that an anime series based on Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima video game and its Ghost of Tsushima: Legends multiplayer experience is officially in production. The anime will exclusively premiere on Crunchyroll in 2027.

Takanobu Mizuno (Star Wars: Visions "The Duel") will direct the series at Kamikaze Douga (Batman Ninja), with Gen Urobuchi writing the story composition. The anime will be produced in collaboration with Aniplex, with Sony Music serving as music and soundtrack partner. Additional staff and cast were not announced at the time of the panel.
