I’ll be getting Shaw Brothers Classics Volume 6. As much as I love Arrow I wish we got standard Shaw Brothers Presents collections for Shawscope Voluke 2 this year. I love what they are doing as well as Shout but those book sets are very unwieldy and take up a lot of space.

Probably just Forbidden World and Night of the Creeps for me. I'm fine with a calm month, especially since it's been an onslaught for me for the past few months.

He was replying to the whole thing, then specifically talked about the label backing out from the Corn films. He didn't state if those specific films were some of them with missing elements or not.

Glad it's still just the Night of the Creeps combo pack release that I'm interested in getting from the March slate (I had a want list of a few Shout DVD season sets of older television series, but I've discovered (or re-discovered) they released a western series on DVD that I would like to get (The High Chapparal).

Kinda surprised the March titles have yet to be officially announced. I wonder what the hold up is…

This is my hope. Aside from Night of the Creeps, I'm severely underwhelmed by this slate.

Thanks for the heads up! Preordered NotC/FW on there. Will probably order from GRUV too because it will be cheaper, and when Movies Unlimited's March Code goes live, might be even cheaper!

Shout's big Comic Con announcement events were a thing to behold every year. The reveals and outlook for the next few months were always fun to look forward to. That feels like centuries ago and the label seems to be done with the fanfare these days. That is certainly apparent here. Preorders go up on Amazon days after MifuneFan leaks them and before Shout officially announces them. Pretty sad. Night of the Creeps on 4K is huge and worthy of fanfare. I hope they at least give us a nice Collector's Edition with great extras but we can't judge by the blurbs here or the preorder info.

I remember those days well. There was always a buzz on this forum for them. Used to really look forward to those announcements and it was usually all good stuff too. Better days gone by......

Night of the Creeps was revealed / confirmed to be coming to 4K by RevolverOcelScott long before I leaked cover art and has received considerable buzz/hype in its respective thread (and when first posted on here).

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=374631

I'd say the pandemic definitely played a major role in killing off how big Comic Con used to be. As far as leaks, I still see plenty of excitement and hype around titles when they get revealed, depending on the titles of course. Part of the problem is there's nothing insanely huge to reveal anymore. All of the major stuff has come out on Blu-ray, and we're now mainly seeing 4K upgrades, which you would expect. So there's simply no way they could have that Comic Con level of hype when it's merely an upgrade of a title they already released on Blu-ray. Short of releasing Nightmare on Elm Street 4K collection (which Warner is apparently doing themselves) there just isn't anything on that level to proverbially bring the house down anymore.

I'm doubting there are more titles. The box sets probably in their eyes make up for less in total.

Maybe someday we'll get Assault on Precinct 13, that they've been sitting on for YEARS now.

Not sure. Neither Bring it On and Tommy have listings, and both are Shout Select titles, so maybe they just didn't add them yet. The release date for Tommy did change from February 25th (original planned date) to March 18th at the place I found the leaks so I'd imagine it's coming.

Thanks - fingers crossed it's not delayed again
