FNAC has another French deluxe edition set for April 2024 but as it's another french market release, I doubt it will be English friendly.

Just deleted the whole Second Sight section from my wishlist. I'm giving up on this company completely given their poor quality with often kind of non-obvious issues at high prices and no response to the issues. Don't dare to buy anything from them again without checking forums first. I will get these movies that they have made problematic releases of at some later time (or at a massive discount).

It is uncut, however the audio track is 40 cents below pitch as a result of SS not doing better quality control with their releases. If you check my earlier comments on this thread, you will find a YouTube video that addresses the audio issue. Hope this helps.

Too bad Second Sight screwed this up as well as the audio for The Blair Witch Project. I would’ve bought both.

I don't recall if I did this back when the issue came up, but I pulled the DVD out of storage today to take a listen. It does sound like the French audio is pitched lower, like the SS release. Interestingly, the English track sounds right. So I checked the Italian release again, as it has the English track, as well as an Italian track. The pitch on all three match up. So SS and the French track on the US DVD are the two outliers. I have the German blu-ray somewhere, but I can't find it. If it turns up, I'll check the German track. By the way, this is one of my top ten movies, so if I seem a little obsessive, that's why.

Since SS has already stated they are NOT doing a replacement disc program...
I have taken it upon myself to painstakingly re-author this disc WITH the correct audio pitch... and after spending the last couple of weeks on it, I have finally completed my own replacement disc. It is a carbon-copy of the SS disc with the following changes...

-The faulty audio has been replaced with a new lossless encode in the original pitch.
-The Extras menu is updated to include all links on one page, including an archival bonus feature not included in the SS release.
-The Extras and Setup menus have been updated for audio/subtitle selection. When an audio/subtitle track is active, it will be highlighted in Yellow (ex. if the French Audio is active, the French button will be Yellow instead of white. This has also been applied to the two commentary tracks on the Pop-Up Menu.
-The English "Miramax" dub has been added as an optional audio track to the film (taken from the US DVD release).
-An optional French SDH subtitle track has been added to the film.
-"The Making of Inside" documentary has been included as an added Extra (subtitled in English).
-All other menus and features remain unchanged.

If anyone is interested in obtaining one of these "replacement" discs, feel free to reach out. A friendly note, this is ONLY for people who already own the SS release.
