Lee Majors Films on Blu-ray

What about the Canadian movie LEE MAJORS starred in with Robert Mitchum, Valerie Perrine, Alexandra Stewart?

AGENCY (1979) directed by George Kaczender.

It was on a Vestron Video VHS tape but I'm not sure what, if any, digital release it's had?

That's the one I was thinking about. I bought a dvd of Agency not too long ago, but the quality is not that great. Would love to see this make it to blu-ray someday.

Also, don't forget Will Penny was recently released on blu-ray. Lee Majors doesn't have a major role in it, but he's really good as a supporting role character in this one.

I think VESTRON VIDEO liked Lee Majors-starred movies.

The company issued five of them on its label!

AGENCY, STEEL, THE LAST CHASE, THE NORSEMAN and the 1983 Tv movie STARFLIGHT ONE all came out on Vestron on VHS.

Someone who was a ^'Higher-Up'^ at Vestron said to his underlings "Let's get some Lee Majors movies to release! Do it!"

Since it's almost impossible to find the Japanese Blu-Ray of STEEL it's great that someone was cool enough to upload it to Youtube for fans of the film and of Lee Majors to enjoy.

There is no replacement for holding a physical copy of the Blu-Ray in your hand and putting it in your Blu-Ray player but for now this is better than nothing:

This films been in development for so long hope it’s really good, and also quite faithful to the tv show like the A Team film was. It just came out and I really hope it was good. I hope this leads to the original tv series finally getting a Blu-Ray release as it really deserves it. Looks like it’s good I definitely need to watch it then as it’s been a long while since we had a really good adaptation of a live action tv show.

That was fixed apparently? I have a copy of the OOP DVD that is allegedly fixed. Plus a big box VHS edition.

It was fixed, and I have the corrected DVD (and the VHS), but the replacement program for the DVD was a mess. A lot of retailers didn't return the out-of-sync pressing, so even when the movie was still available, it was hard to find the corrected edition, and Code Red lost a lot of money on it.

Ouch. No wonder there's no Blu Ray then.

I got my copy used on eBay. I watched it through and noticed no audio issues at all. I think i just got very lucky perhaps. A Blu Ray edition would be fantastic. Maybe another label might get the rights in future hopefully. A shame Code Red took a loss though, are they still in business?
