You could also swap in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom or Joker: Folie à Deux for that. If anything, I think Joker is a far bigger disaster, since it failed both commercially and critically, when the original was highly acclaimed. Captain Marvel made a lot of money, but it was generally regarded as fine at best.
