For anyone interested, it looks as though the International Cut (the TV version in 4:3) was added to the Internet Archive a few years ago. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it looks alright.

A couple of years ago I saw an uploaded recording from one of the ABC showings on the Internet Archive, commercials and all. I think the local affiliate was in Missouri.

What's available on the Internet Archive stops playing about 59 minutes into it and picks up again at 1 hr and 32 minutes Hope they can correct that.

I have a copy of the Superman 2 Restored International Cut from back in the day from Superman Cinema.. Whats playing on the Internet Archive appears to be exactly what I got.

I remember seeing the stuff from caped wonder back then .... Chris Reeve in the white shirt flying in the fortress was absolutely wonderful....

I really wish Warners would release a version available for purchase on VUDU (fandango at home now...) I'm sure with the legal nightmare that would arise from who would receive royalties from where on something like that is the real holdup...

When I saw Superman the movie extended cut was available for purchase, I purchased and figured Superman 2 extended cut would be right behind.. will prolly never happen , though. Hope so.

The scenes are different just enough to warrant 2 different versions available .. I love the Donner Cut and back then , something like that was the absolute goal, and I was VERY VERY HAPPY to be able to buy thatl.... BUT, something as subtle as Margot's voice is the one used for " the same old clark, and the same old lois" Makes the International Cut almost a prize to have.

Who are the doubles used in the Donner Cut, anyway? If they are credited.. I totally missed them... When Superman "loses" his powers in the fortress when the 3 villains are there.. the last shot of Supes behind the crystal wall where he appears a bit crestfallen is a different suit, Hair is a bit different ... and when Lois sits down after being dropped off at her apt and begins to write "Superman saves Humanity from Eternal Domination.. that is not Margot Kidder.... Anyone know who these folks are ?

Photo doubles typically aren't credited nor paid any more than background actors. You just have to do the action when required. Therefore you'll probably never know.
