Just heard back from Scanavo regarding this steelbook...

I only asked about the UK version since that is the only version I have ordered.

Here is their response:

The UK one is printed.
So you def. should buy that one.

Sorry but I honestly thought that "serious" steelbook collectors like you, crash and tiger would collect this steelbook irrespective of whether it is a printed or label steelbook?

okay, i see what you mean now.. you want to know if the Italian, Thai and Poland versions are definitely steelbook releases, correct?

Oh we will, don't you worry, but it is also nice to know what we are getting and not be surprised (disappointed) when we open the packages

I assure you that Gladiator in Italy will be definitely a steelbook

I cancelled my order from uk,
I prefer the italian release ..is clear of logos and according to me the cover is more cool than the uk one..

yes is without rating logo..in Italy we are save ..for now. we have only the S.I.A.E. sticker but is removable and sometimes is on the cellophane.

The disc is the same for all europe so I think yes for portuguese subs.
when it will come out on 1 of October I'll tell you

Same as the German one except for the Italian title and the absence of the ratings logo. Could've been better if it had inside art work. Looks really nice though.
