I don't how where you're getting that half of all 4Ks are not worth the upgrade but you're dead wrong. The post I quoted below yours could apply to MANY early Blu-ray transfers. I see so many people panning Blu-rays and many are, in fact, mediocre lazy studio jobs. Plus,the omission of extras should not be taken into consideration when rating a 4K disc

If Arrow is going to release this with both cuts then I will just wait for the replacement discs before buying.

Why pick on straw men? They're kinda like wicker men. Or do you mean the kind that just drink with a straw? Their opinions are valid too, and they have feelings. And why do they have to wait more than 5 minutes between posts? I couldn't find anything about it in the sticky threads. This is all most distressing. And are the posts innocuous or just the motives behind them? Did I mention that Kiefer Sutherland's annoying speech patterns alone might keep me from buying this title? Where is Dark City, anyway?

I love Arrow. But their customer service is pretty lacking overall. And I would also put Vinegar Syndrome’s packaging a bit above Arrow’s on-balance.

How the hell did I miss this thread?

I'm curious how they'll handle the director's cut because that one never even got a conformed film element. Are they gonna upscale the extra bits or did they rescan everything from scratch?

It's quite clear the OCN itself is conformed to the theatrical cut so I'm curious with exactly how they'll handle the director's cut.
