Just an update for those unaware - Robin Hood on Disney+ is now the DNR version Sword in The Stone is still the non-DNR version.

Was there a non-DNR HD version of Robin Hood on there before?
If so, I wasn't aware of that.

Side note, last I checked, Cinderella is still the old DNR-mess on Disney+, but most if not all other digital platforms have new restoration.
Vudu, iTunes, and Google Play at the very least.

Update: Disney+ now has the new 4K restoration for Cinderella, but it's seems to only be in HD for some reason.

Yeah, the version of RH before was the same as that from the DVD (Special Edition I think, from years ago).

Just watching Cinderella on Disney+ now... WOW. What a difference! It actually looks like film haha.

Wow. Resolution on the "Platinum Edition DVD" was really good! Almost HD. hehe

I still have quite a few Disney VHS tapes at home. Blu-ray often offers resolutions better suited for modern screens, while the old 4:3 aspect ratio is quite different from today's 16:9 format.
