You're in UK, right? Shipping fees to UK are 9 euros (1-3 BluRays) or 16 euros (4+ BluRays). There should be no additional fee involved, as the VAT is collected at purchase.

USA is more tricky because of different shipping cost and no VAT.

You should have received an email with the cost breakdown including shipping costs. I paid €8.95 for shipping to the UK.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Scream 6. But I will be purchasing all 3 of these. Sadly I will have to wait a month or so because money is a little tight atm.

Thank you once again Turbine !

Turbine charges your card in euros (€), not pounds (£). To avoid additional fees on your credit card, you should pay with a card that does not charge foreign transaction fees. The Chase Amazon Visa card does not charge such fees, so you're fine.

For these bundles, Turbine charges a flat fee of €12.95 for shipping to the US. My order came out to €69.02 after the shipping fee. I also used some Turbine rewards points which gave me a discount of €5.10. So my total price was €63.92.

Well that's majorly disappointing. Not meaning to just ***** and moan but I was pretty jacked for this next announcement. I'm sure it makes many happy and will sell well for Turbine, but yikes, I'm not remotely interested in any of those 3. I will have to wait until the next batch. Hope you all enjoy!

Well, I just posted a complicated post of how to optimize shipping cost on the 3D BluRay FB page today, so here goes...

Turbine 3D Collector Series – Shopping Strategy Guide

Now with twelve 3D titles available to order from Turbine, here is a guide how to save on prices and on shipping, especially when ordering from overseas.
(prices/shipping cost: 31 Jan 2025)
Basic things to know about Turbine’s shop which is located at Turbine-shop.com
  • The shop has an English interface. On the desktop website, there is a country flag in the top right corner. On a mobile website, the language selection Is in the main menu.
  • The descriptions of the titles are sometimes not translated; you can use Google Translate to achieve that.
  • Link to search for 3D titles specifically: https://turbine-shop.de/en/search?or...f735&search=3d
  • If you’re within Europe, prices are shown with your local VAT. This includes UK (even though it is not in the EU anymore). The VAT is selected by your default shipping address.
  • If you are outside Europe, prices are shown without VAT. Therefore, a 3D title costs €24.99 when ordering from Germany, but only €21 if ordering from, say, USA. A bundle costs €66.72 in Germany, and €56.07 to USA. The VAT is selected by your default shipping address.
  • Currency is Euro (€) which is also used for the following calculations. You can recalculate it to your currency easily enough.
  • Every 3D wave so far (#01-03, #04-06, #07-09, #10-12) has also been available as bundle sets, including all three titles, and cheaper than when you order them separately – thus, they cost only €66.72 instead of 74.97 (within Germany) or €56.07 instead of €63 (to USA).
  • The bundle price is only valid for particular bundles as listed in the shop, not any triple of 3D titles!
  • Every €1 spent at the shop results in 1 bonus point. Therefore, you get 25 points for ordering 1x 3D BluRay within Germany, and 21 points when ordering to USA.
  • You can use bonus points to reduce the price of your next order. 10 points = €1.
  • If you use bonus points to reduce the price, the points you receive for this order are reduced accordingly.
  • Bonus points won't reduce the cost of the package in respect to any customs fees.

Ordering Strategies
Germany
Single title price: €24.99. Bundle of three: €66.72.
Shipping cost within Germany Is easy-peasy: everything over 50€ is shipped free, so you can order each bundle separately and apply the bonus points you collect for it to the next order, reducing it by 67 points = €6.70)

UK
Single 3D title to UK: €25.20; Bundle of three: €67.28
Shipping:
• 1x-3x BluRay: €8.95
• 4x+ BluRay: €15.95
If you need more than one bundle, you do best getting all in one shipment. Here an example for 4 bundles (the ones that are available now):
4x 67.28 = €269.12
€269.12+15.95 = €285.07
(and you have 270 points = €27 discount for your next order)

However: even though Turbine is already paying the correct VAT, some rogue UK customs workers insist on having it paid again upon import. Thus, it may be safer to keep orders under 150€ (135£).

USA
Single 3D title to US: €21.00; Bundle of three: €56.07
Now with USA, shipping is more complicated, as the price of shipping depends on the weight.
With 3D titles, the shipping costs the following (subject to change):

• 1x-6x BluRay: €12.95
• 7x-8x BluRay: €18.95
• 9x+ BluRay: €39.95

Let’s say, you want to buy all 12 titles from Turbine. They are available in bundles à 3 discs, and cost €56.07 each.

The best way would be splitting it in two orders:
Order 1: Bundle1 + Bundle2
56.07+56.07 = €112.14
(which results in 113 bonus points = €11.30 discount)

112.14 + 12.95 (shipping 6x BluRays) = €125.09
Order 2: Bundle3 + Bundle4
56.07+56.07 = €112.14

However, you have 113 bonus points (=€11.30 discount) from Order 1 that you can use here!

112.14 – 11.30 (points discount) = €100.84
100.84+12.95 (shipping) = 113.79
Total price for all 4 bundles: 125.09+113.79 = €238.88
(and you get 101 bonus points = €10.1 discount for your next order!)

For comparison, if you order all 4 bundles in one shipment:
4x 56.07 = €224.28
Shipping cost: €39.95
224.28 + 39.95 = €264.23
(as opposed to €238.88)
However, you will have 225 points (€22.50 discount) to spend on your next order.

If you order less than 4 bundles, you best split your order so you get a shipment of 2 bundles + the rest in another shipment.

Those three had already been previously announced as the next wave. I’m not too interested in Scream 6 or TMNT, but picking up the new and improved version of F13 Part III is a no-brainer, one of the craziest strongest 3-D films ever made, an absolute must-own. I’m totally stoked just for that one title.

Not strictly true. They capture VAT at point of sale, so no further VAT to pay. But if you breach the £135 limit, the package is then subject to import tax, a release fee and a service charge to royal mail.

One of the regulars in one of the other 3D forums groups bought the first 9 and got hit with an additional £60 in fee's.

In another example, Turbine accidentally declared the Euro value in place of the £ value in error so the package got hit with un-necessary charges. You then have to raise a claim, supply the receipt to get the money back. Unfortunately, you only get the import tax back as the other charges are non refundable.

I got hit with import charges on goods from the US on two occasions - its a pain. So its always best to stay under the £135 limit to avoid it getting pulled in. which is a pain as the best postage saving is if you buy more.

Ya I probably haven't followed this as closely as I should or I'd have known they were already announced. Thought this was new news.

I'd have to research options, but I don't watch horror movies, so 2 of them are an automatic no. I suffer from night terrors. I will dabble occasionally, but I usually regret it.

As for TMNT, it was fine I guess, well done obviously, but not something I'd pursue watching again. If reports on the 3D are good, I will likely pick it up for my kid when there's more I want to order from Turbine.

With 3x 3D bundles, it goes up more than double, to a flat shipment fee of 40€.

I believe that volume and weight makes the shipping rate rise a lot.

Under 1Kg (if i'm not mistaken) and up to a certain size of the package the rate is lower and above that the values of shipping increase because they'll be in the next class of the rate and by that the value is corrected to that rate.

I'm actually in Maryland (in the US) (Pry should have put that in my original post)

It's all so complicated! I just buy and figure if it is less than 100 dollars in total I'm good

Turbine Media is really doing a great job delivering high-quality 3D-Blu-Ray releases for the still existing markets. They do not simply press delivered content 1:1 onto the discs, but also apply corrections and now even more sophisticated repairs on the video. For audio we usually also get the best possible option with Atmos. <3

With the 4th installement Turbine has now realized all the announced titles/bundles, which is a great achievement IMO. And they already announced more titles to come.
It would be really nice, if we could again get a glimpse about further upcoming 3D-Blu-Rays in 2025. So far only the "Super Mario Bros. Movie" has been teased as a likely candidate.

I am sure Wicked is coming too. I believe it’s universal and paramount they have the rights for. Turbine can cook up some fantastic releases on 3D Blu-Ray from these studios
Imagine if they got Warner and Disney rights too.

Yes, there are still some wonderful unreleased Universal 3D titles, also some potential great upcoming 3D movies in the cinema schedule.
Also titles like Jackass, Spongebob & Wonderpark from Paramount.

I really, really hope and pray some Warner and Disney 3D titles will follow one day.

Also hoping for Sony titles like the 2 "Venom" movies to complete the trilogy in 3D, "Men in Black: International", "Alpha" and the 2026 movie "Spider-Man 4".
