I noticed people have a problem with Pascal's casting. There are two reasons for why he was cast. 1. He has been friends with the director for a long time. 2. Pascal is good at playing father figures.

And he's already in the Disney pipeline so was an easy get.

I like the retro futuristic ‘60s production design.

It’s looking pretty solid so far. The retro-futuristic fusion is quite cool and gives it a distinct flavor. Given how big of a deal this is, I’ll hope and assume that the F4 will finally be done right on the big screen.

He doesnt count. At this stage anyone getting acclimated to the FF shouldnt be placing him as the center stage character to save the day.
Franklin almost 90% sure he and by extension his sister Valeria won't show up for a good while but it would be hilarious if we had Doom deliver Valeria and give that cold ass monologue about helping deliver and naming Valeria to Reed. The only reason i kinda don't know whether i want that adapted yet is that i don't know how Doom will play out in Avengers Doomsday.

This is probably one of the more solid entries i think the MCU will have post-Endgame but i don't wanna get ahead of myself either. I just think Feige knows how much they need to nail the F4 for the next part of the MCU stories to unfold and of course X Men soon after.

Shouldn't it be FantastIVison?

Actually since Herbie is there, shouldn't it be Fantastic 5? Since he was the fourth member in the cartoon.

I ruined it for myself.

I am excited for this one. The teaser trailer looked really great to me!

It looks exactly like what a Fantastic 4 film should look like, and I love the retro futuristic aesthetic. It really reminds me of the classic Stan Lee comics.

I think we just might finally get a good Fantastic 4 film with this one. It's long overdue at this point.

I was at work when they released the teaser. I saw the D23 one, that one was all kinds of fun. And this one tops it cuz it's different and more.

This really feels like the FF. The Thing is perfect. Maybe the voice could be different but I'm assuming they're letting him be more normal for the sake of the performance.

Kirby is perfect as Sue. That's the Sue we should have gotten in the previous films. She's been the most horribly misrepresented of the four. Story's films literally just dragged her back decades in characterization from where she was. And Trank's was kind of there, Mara was casted right but her character is middling, at best. Not horrible but just... there.

They mostly are. It's even worse when a fan makes a fake trailer for a film. Fans that can be heavy into creating is always so weird. A lot of it is crap, very few of them are quality.

I like the teaser but the whole thing depends on the script.
Besides Ben, the casting is not great. The other 3 may be fine actors but they don't look the part to my eyes. I hope their auditions showed the producers something I'm not seeing yet.
I dunno, I think Kirby is pretty solid casting for Sue. I don't know the actor playing Johnny so he's the odd man out. And I'm intrigued by Pascal as Reed. Based on the teaser, he has a manner to him that I didn't see him going with but it is okay. Reed has been many ways. Maybe more heart than his typical portrayal in film and I hope I'm right cuz Reed has changed a good bit since the 1960s. The one that has changed the most is Sue for sure to where I feel the way they show her here is spot on how she should be.

It’s funny when someone creates a a trailer for a movie that doesn’t exist. They just use footage from actors older movies, and the amount of people in the comments that think it’s real is mind blowing lol

Yep. Did they not notice all the different color grading and look to the shots they're seeing? So weird that people lap it up. I don't know who I dislike more, the people who made the fake trailer to get their views or those who believe it to be the real deal.

I rather see the real trailer and just wait for that for new movies about to be released in theaters.

I am pretty sure these movies will be much more exciting than the 2 prior F4 2005 movies we got years ago with Alba, Chicklas, Evans and the guys who played Fantastic and Dr. Doom. I have those on DVD but they hardly have any action and mostly just people talking most of the movie for an action comic book movie.
They're sort of interesting and worth a re-watch I guess.

I did finally see the 1990s never released Fantastic 4 placeholder movie to retain the rights. It was mildly interesting and the effects were bargain bin but kind of interesting for low budget.

I want to see the 2015 reportedly poor Fant4stic movie by the director who got fired from the Star Wars film for his poor handling under pressure on the set of the Marvel film, but just waiting for it to drop to $5, which has yet to happen.

There was a Fantastic 4 animated series, but haven't seen those. Not on DVD either.
