That 3rd quarter fumble was the most heartening play for me.

kinda reminded me of Brady's beat down twice by my NYG in two thrillers SBs
You proved yourself wrong by your own word use. Very different dynamics between this game and those games. Those games were thrillers, as you say, because they were competitive and decided in the 4th quarter. Despite all the pressure on Brady, he still put his team up late in BOTH games and his defenses couldn't hold, though his defenses limited both those Giants teams until the late game clinching drives the Giants had. Last night's game was over at halftime. Mahomes threw for less yards than Brady in those games, and most of Mahomes' passing yards came late in basically garbage time and were meaningless.
By the way, what happened to the Giants after 2012? Cause the Patriots went back and got 3 more rings, haven't seen the Giants much in the playoffs since. Good luck getting a QB to deal with this Eagles team the next 5-7+ years, the Giants selecting a QB ensures the Patriots will get the top WR, RB, or O lineman pick, as they rebuild faster than the Giants ever will. Brady was 6-3 career record against the Giants, including recording the only 16-0 perfect regular season in Giants own stadium. A team wins the SB every year but we'll likely never see another perfect even regular season.

Must've been fun watching ex-Giant Barkley help lead another NFC east team to a title. Last night's game was great, the Chiefs had been barely scraping by all year and were ripe to have their run ended...Eagles were just finally the team to show up and do it.

Not too bright are you? Spygate itself was BS, and had no effect on Rams SB, it was a longtime thing in the league to try to read other teams signals, which they change all the time anyway. They only got in trouble due to vengeful ex coach Mangini for having a camera in a specific spot. Gronk wasn't even there till 2010 and had nothing to do with the deflation nonsense which also had no bearing on the Patriots whooping the Colts in that game and a literal physics professor whose not a Patriots fan debunked any wrongdoing by Brady or the Patriots. Why don't you complain about Ray Lewis being part of any NFL broadcasts or the Ravens featuring him as a hometown hero when it's known he was involved in a literal murder?

I was rooting for the Chiefs, but found nothing to cheer for the whole game. On the bright side it does make the Redskin defeat look less embarrassing. True they got blown out by an even worse margin, but at least it was competitive up to the 4th quarter. Hopefully they can improve in the offseason.

Eagles will host kickoff game so looking at their 8 home opponents...

giants/bears/raiders - no way
broncos - doubtful
rams/cowboys - maybe

i think it be lions or commanders.

Worthy is a bright spot. I think the early injury to Rice forced the Chiefs hand and Worthy's requirement to quickly grow in the position.

Obviously, I'm not in the locker room, but listening to the players...Hopkins, Brown and Mahomes played key roles to helping Worthy turn into a #1 receiver.

I'm excited for next season with Worthy, Rice and Hollywood as part of our receiving core. Now it's up to Veach to get the pieces of the puzzle together to strengthen our OL (hate to see Trey Smith go, but we likely can't afford him). If the OL doesn't get fixed, all the great young receiving core will mean less (results).

Only once fans started chanting “ref you suck(?)” after that terrible OPI call that took away a 1st down deep in Chiefs territory did they start calling the game (fairly) down the middle. They probably were like “oh shit, these fans are gonna start throwing dildos at us or send our wives shit in the mail if we don’t stop giving the Chiefs calls for once.”

And that $100,000 loss was nothing compared to the guy who lost $1m on the Bills winning the AFCCG because of the refs.

https://clutchpoints.com/nfl-rumors-...ore-head-coach

While Mickey Loomis didn't come out and say it himself, rumors sputtered after the Super Bowl that the Saints preferred Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, per Grant Paulsen on X.

“From the Super Bowl week notebook: I was told by a rival team official the Saints job was Kliff Kingsbury's if he wanted it,” Paulsen wrote. “Was made clear to him that was the case. He preferred calling plays in DC and staying with Daniels over taking the gig.”

While some people might aspire to be a head coach in the future, Kingsbury's been down that road already. Unfortunately for him, Kingbury's first attempt at being a head coach at the NFL level didn't end so well.

After spending six seasons as the head coach for Texas Tech — three of which were with quarterback Patrick Mahomes — Kingsbury was hired by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 to put them back on track.

With the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Kingsbury and the Cardinals selected quarterback Kyler Murray, hoping to bring Arizona fruitful years of successful football. That isn't how his tenure would go in Arizona, as Kingsbury got fired after a 4-13 record in the 2022 season.

Brady might be a legitimate shooting star/meteor strike of a qb winning Superbowls like he did in his 30's and 40's. I did find this one insightful in that Jalen Hurts is about as successful as Mahomes in his first 4 years as a starter.

One thing with Mahomes is it will be interesting to see what happens with the coaching change we will be seeing soon. I tell you watching Andy last night, I don't see him doing this for too much longer. He looked old and worn out to me on that sideline last night. Heck the entire team looked that way, down by 24 midway through the 3rd and Mahomes is taking his time, slow rolling to the huddle and getting plays off. He completely looked like a guy that didn't want to be playing last night, kind of weird to me.
It may have been a blowout, but I sure didn't turn off the TV after the first quarter, or the rest of the game, knowing Mahomes and his comebacks.

It was kind of odd to see a beatdown, we haven't had a Superbowl like that since 49'ers vs Chargers. Falcons vs Patriots was a beatdown, until it wasn't and ended up as a wild comeback.

Seahawks/Broncos was a recent blowout in the Super Bowl.

The Eagles learned from the Falcons mistake. Keep the foot on the gas until the outcome is not in doubt.
