Well yes, but that's an old SD transfer (as well as being the worst option to pick up Curse of Frankenstein on Blu).

Why would ITV do a deal for a handful of films with Hammer when they won't with other UK independent labels as the owners of some of them have gone on record saying in the past.

It seems unlikely at this moment. But one can hope that Hammer can use their power and money to get them back from ITV but at present I would say it's nearly impossible. Strange that ITV are do happy to licence out to Australia but then so does Studiocanal with their crown jewels - Carry on films, On The Buses etc

Thank you SO much for your work putting this list together.
I had read somewhere erroneously that Hammer only had the rights to their pre-Curse of Frankenstein titles and some of the 1970s output. The admin from one of the Hammer fan groups on FB was kind enough to correct me, but it is really nice that have a list to see what some of the possible forthcoming titles may be. |

I really like the new art work for Four Sided Triangle and I'm hoping a poster is available tomorrow.

And you keep complaining about the price, when as far as I know, the price for the new release isn't even known at the moment (until tomorrow), and it will surely be cheaper than Captain Kronos. I honestly don't get your complaints, when US labels like Vinegar Syndrome or Severin frequently charge $40 for a single disc release, with a slipcover, and Shout's Hammer releases, like for example The Vampire Lovers, cost $34,98 alone, for a single BD. Compared to those US releases, Captain Kronos had a very reasonable price tag, considering it's 5 discs (not even factoring the physical extras, and the very solid, quality packaging). As someone in Europe, I bought the Limited Edition of Captain Kronos for less than what any of the releases I mentioned above would cost me, when I add shipping from the US (and I'm not even factoring customs charges). And Hammer even sent me a 20% discount code for the next order, which is bound to save me some money on their next title. I understand not wanting the physical extras, so I'm sure if you wait a bit, you will surely be able to get a regular release without them, for a bit cheaper, either from Hammer, or a US label. But again, as far as pricing go, compared to what other "boutique" labels are offering for similar prices, the first Hammer release was very reasonably priced. |

A potentially $20 USD difference between the two releases. As I said, that $45 price was erroneously listed prematurely. we won't know the real price until tomorrow. |

did everyone get the 20% who ordered Kronos? That would be an interested business model: Buy an expensive LE and get 20% of your next order...
