The official website is kind of barebones, if you switch it to JP it has links to order physical versions from Japan (which are extremely likely to be Japanese only, possible international patch after). It also has links to JP-only versions on the eShop and PSN, available to purchase now. Probably going to get it this weekend.

I did get notification that my limited edition shipped from Amazon Japan a few days ago.

I'm curious if the physical Switch version has the whole game or if the original series is a DLC code. The digital version for Switch (and Steam) made the DYRL stage and characters a separate purchase from the main game, but everything is included on the PS digital.

If I order from the Playstation site, does that mean it's a digital copy? I would much rather have the physical disc.

Edit: I can't order it because I am not in Japan. Found it on Ebay.

The international version is available, Japanese voices w/ English subtitles and interface. If you have a JP version, it should have received the language update in December.

International versions do not have the option to purchase/play the original Macross DYRL (Robotech) content.

They seem to muck up everything, when it comes to anything SDF Macross.
