Did anyone notice the studio who performed the conversion in the credits?

I tried but there was so much information on the screen at once I couldn't make anything out. No one has mentioned the post credits scene as being flat so I'm wondering if my showing was unique. About 5 other people in my screening at a theater near Temple University....Maybe since this is such a smash the first one can get rereleased even though I understand the3D is underwhelming from accounts

So, the distributors have just announced they're preparing an English-dubbed version for release.

No word on whether or not this one will be distributed in 3D, but I would consider it a safe bet, since the 3D version already exists and not having subtitles makes it even easier to enjoy the 3D.

I wouldn’t consider a 3-D Blu-ray release of any new 3-D film to be a safe bet, not remotely. Although, I gotta say I’m massively surprised it took in over $2 billion and is the highest grossing animated film of all time. Crazy.

Where did you get the idea I was talking about a blu-ray release? I wasn't.

They are going to distribute the English-dubbed version in cinemas. It even says so in the story:

Quote:
CMC Pictures has already secured distribution on 1,000 screens in North America and 162 in Australia for the film. For the upcoming English dub, Ying noted that the marketing approach will shift significantly with “targeted TV advertising and social media including YouTube and TikTok,” along with a “bigger marketing budget” to reach non-Chinese audiences.

I finally saw the first movie this weekend, and I really enjoyed it, though it was heartbreaking to have to watch it flat. The last fight scene in particular looked like it would be amazing in 3D.

Here's hoping the bigger success of Part 2 warrants a stronger consideration for a home 3D release (and as long as I'm dreaming, how about a two-fer with both films?). As everyone here has noted, it's going to be a long shot. It's such a tragedy that so many films, even those seemingly designed and filmed with 3D in mind, can only be seen in 3D for a short limited run in a small number of theaters.

Be a shame if they don’t do 3D IMAX here in the US…

Has A24 done a 3D movie before? If not, this'd be a first for them.

Looks like this will be their first 3D release. Long shot, but if the home video rights are in their hands, here's hoping for a 3D Blu-ray release.
