A new detective series started on ITV tonight called The Bay. Based on what I've read about it, there are going to be comparisons to Broadchurch. Hopefully it stands on it's own two feet.

Last week's drama Cheat was very good. That's getting a Blu-ray release soon in the UK.

Have read this week that The Bay has been renewed for a second series by ITV. I thought the first series was good, but I didn't think it was great.

A new series of detective drama series The Bay (the fourth) is starting on ITV1 a week tomorrow (Wednesday 8th March) at 9 pm - 10 pm. Six episodes in total, with the entire series being made available on ITVX.

A new series of detective drama series The Bay (the fifth) is starting on ITV1 next Sunday night (2nd March) at 9 pm - 10 pm. Six episodes in total.

Looks like it is being shown over two weeks, based on the first three episodes premiering over three consecutive nights (Sunday 2nd to Tuesday 4th March). Unforgotten's latest series was shown over three weeks (two episodes each week).

Didn't feel this was as good once the lead protagonist was replaced, but have continued to watch. Wasn't aware there was a new series, so thanks for the heads up !
