Technically yes. If they remastered the film in HDR/DV, I wouldn’t really care as Kino’s 4K encoding is so shoddy it’d surely be like Uncle Buck again where the BD is vastly superior to the 4K. With a bit of luck, Wilder’s film fares slightly better due to it being b/w but I’m not holding my breath either as Stalag 17 is also ridiculously bad.

As I couldn't care less about the original, I would have picked up the remake in a heartbeat in 4k.
