And what's something that's been on my mind? I'll tell ya. The VTA is planning to strike at midnight so it's possible that all bus and light rail service will be suspended for the foreseeable future. Despite my weird OCD about keeping the miles down, that's okay. I can drive my car if I have to. The thing is that I'm very low on gas and I didn't want to buy anymore gas before payday. No, I won't need to go stand on the corner and offer any kind of favors for gas money lol I just don't want to spend money on gas before this Friday.

I can ride my bike to and from work but not sure what I'll do on my days off. Tonight is my Friday. So that's on my mind. I could just stick around the neighborhood on my days off but I likes to get outs and abouts on my days off.

Also Adidas sent me an email trying to tempt me with a sale they're having and if it wasn't for my credit card debt of about $1,000, I might bite. The outstanding balance ain't no biggie but I don't want to add to it and I certainly don't need to add to my already packed wardrobe. But I do love me some Adidas and they got some track pants as cheap as $18 God help me

Seriously. I woke up thinking it was 8:30. Gonna be a little painful getting up in the morning, but fortunately I have about 35 foot commute.

9:48pm and waiting to clock in at 10pm so I can knock this easy peasy shift out. My weekend tomorrow so I’ll spend a good amount of time thinking about where I’ll eat lunch lol. Bus and light rail operators begin striking at midnight but luckily I have Mountain Mike’s, Chili’s and IHOP all within a mile walking distance. Assuming no PT is running, I’ll stick around my tiny studio for my weekend. Maybe I can tidy up my apartment but more likely, I’ll just think about tidying up my apartment

We are still in winter mode here and the roads suck. Not to mention all the debris, dirt and rock salt still on the roads.

I just joke and call wheels like that on such low profile tires “bicycle tires” …you’re playing with fire driving a car like that in PA right now.

Yeah…it was red but I did not have a chance to photograph it. I got to drive one a few years back. They are timeless.

Paint by numbers will make it easier. Actually no, you’re going to make the kids paint it. I just know it

Had a State Trooper behind me this morning. It can feel like a duel sometimes.

Just before the pandemic, I had one following me on a back road roughly a mile from the barracks. He was so bored that he entered my tag number and pulled me over. He said my registration was expired and I was shocked and didn’t believe him at first as I tore apart my glove box looking for my papers.

PA used to issue little stickers that you would affix to your plate each year. Other States still do it. It was almost foolproof as you would see the expiration date. The State decided it was a waste of money even though the taxpayers paid for them.

I do not even remember getting the renewal in the mail. During that time, I would constantly receive the wrong mail. Anyway… it was a $200 fine plus the new registration. He was really bored that day and had to get one more. He should have told me to get it renewed and stop by to show him I did considering it was the first time I was ever pulled over in the 20 years I’ve been driving.

Car was insured and inspected. It’s not like I was deliberately trying to avoid paying my registration. Not sure if arguing with a judge would have helped either.

This should probably be in the angry thread lol. While I was not pulled over today, make sure your paperwork is up to date ‘cause they get all the info up on their laptop if they’re riding behind you.

Down in Orlando at Walt Disney World.

They had a track and it was run by Richard Petty. It started out as a NASCAR experience and then they opened it up to exotics. They have similar opportunities around the country.

Here’s one in Sonoma.

As for the exotic driving experience at Disney, It was pretty popular until someone crashed a Lamborghini & died. They shut down the entire operation and demolished the track. I’m not sure if that was the reason, but I assume so.

Ah okay, that's cool. I have heard of those experiences. As for the location shutting down, I think you're right about the reason. The only thing that I've ever done that was somewhat similar was at a car show. BF Goodrich had a little course set up and I did it. This was 20 years ago and I don't remember the experience that well but I did unintentionally do something cool and I think the rep riding with me was impressed or got a kick out of it. I think the car might have been...I wanna say a Lexus but it might not have even been that cool of a car. It definitely wasn't a Ferrari lol I got a t-shirt from the experience

I was talking to my mom yesterday and she did find a few photos from some car show(s) so hopefully I'll get them and get them online.

Just heard a good one in the same vain as a Chuck Norris quip. Browsing YouTube shorts and there is one with UFC veteran Don Frye on the Joe Rogan Experience and one of the comments is "Don Frye built the hospital he was born in"

I just got done watching Ben Affleck's Live By Night. This was my second time seeing it. The song at the end credits is incredible. I don't remember it from the first time I saw it and I'm not sure why because I'm loving the song. Watching a Jimmy Kimmel appearance on YouTube and feeling his style too.

Went in for some blood work yesterday and, for the second time in a row, they had a hard time extracting it from me. Tried my left arm and the blood at least started to flow but then stopped. Next they tried my right hand and it was almost the same issue. The nurse had to call someone in to assist and the blood started flowing after the second girl jabbed the needle in further. It's a good thing I'm not squeamish. Now to wait for the results.

That is a pain (no pun)... They say to drink a lot of water beforehand as that will help show the veins better.
