Same. But the flowers make me think of the horrid Silent Hill: The Short Message.

EDIT: I didn't realize that teaser is 2 years old.

After the last big Transmission which showed off the remake of 2, Ascension, f, Short Message and Townfall was two years ago. I'm hoping this year's is a show of f, sure, but also a look at the next film and a mention of the remakes for the other games.

We'll see how this goes. A Japanese setting is interesting. Things have been said that beyond f and Townfall, there are other SH games in development that have yet to be announced.

Good point. No gameplay for such a big presentation would suggest the game still has a long way to go. Unless they're going to have another reveal shortly.

The topic of no actual gameplay reminds me of an indie game revealed by "Blue Box Studios" 1st revealed back in April 2021 I think, called Abandoned, which was offering clues that it was going to be a new Silent Hill game. Years ago, finally resulting in a very brief "demo" cutscene of what looks like Harry in a green coat and jeans walking across a wooden panel floor.
That developer turned out to be a BS artist, delivering zero results in the end, and the game was never made. Abandoned after all it seems.

Meanwhile, we've already gotten a new Silent Hill 2 remake after announcements in 2023 I think, and now Silent Hill F on the way in addition to the CGI series Silent Hill Ascension and a new Silent Hill Returns movies for 2025. Konami thankfully knows how to get results with the developers working on the projects. Bloober team being the first to deliver a full game. This was after a long drought since Silent Hills P.T. back on PS4 in 2014. I still have that demo on my PS4.

I'll have to see gameplay but if it's a reasonable length unlike 2 I might be interested since I otherwise like 2.

How did you like the length of all of the endless missions in Days Gone by time the story ended? I liked the generosity, but by the 3/4 point, I was wishing all the side missions they packed into the main story missions would have been optional as it was diluting the over-long story. I was relieved to finally complete it, but good game either way.

Mixed feelings. After two years, no gameplay? I am not big into J-Horror (which is what SH is, but it's always had a distinct feel), but like that it seems to have its own identity. However, it also feels like the devs made an original IP that got a last minute Silent Hill coat of paint. Like I said, I have mixed feelings.

I'll need to see gameplay, but agree, this seems like a spin off than true Silent Hill. At least from the cinematics so far.

I liked the trailer, but I agree with everyone about the lack of gameplay. Also the fact that we got a "wishlist now" announcement rather than some sort of ball park release window. I'm really starting to hate game announcements that seem to happen when a game is just clearing the conceptual phase.

Is it really that long? Waiting to finish my PC build before playing the remake but this makes think they’ve ruined the game
