Currently have preorders for Moana 2 4k, Flow 4k, The Colors Within, Wolf Children 4k, Spy X Family Season 2, A Place Further Than The Universe.

I don't generally have any preorders so this is quite a few for me. Quite a few at the moment for me.

They are an excellent online source for movies, especially imports and collector editions. They also pack their orders really well for shipment.

I got the Mad Men complete series blu-ray. It was $250 on Amazon, but I found it for $100 at Walmart; so that was cool.

But the case is awful. It has one of those book designs, and this one is the worst I've seen by far. It's just super tight. It's so hard to pull the discs out. The other two books that I've had at least had a little wiggle room for the discs to move around.

On the plus side, no scratches.

I also got Succession US, and that also has not the best case.

Which really is making me want to try getting replacement cases. Not sure what to get.

I've come across some quite poor packaging too in the past, and to be honest with you I simply use those slim CD cases rather than struggle to get the discs in and out of the original box and run the risk of scratching them. Yes granted, it takes up more space this way, but at least the discs will be safe.

When I see discs inserted into those cardboard slots I extract the disc by gripping it with a microfiber cloth so as not to get my fingerprints on the disc. Once removed, I put the disc into one of these cd sleeves:

The sleeve (now containing the disc) will fit back into the cardboard slot leaving just enough of the sleeve sticking out to make it easy to remove the disc going forward. The sleeve will also protect the disc from getting scratched by the cardboard slot.

These cd sleeves are cheap; 100 of them currently cost $11.95 at Amazon:

Of course, you can buy replacement disc cases at greater expense if you prefer, but these sleeves will allow you to keep using the original packaging, which is nice if you otherwise like the packaging for its artwork.

Crazy I bought the first 4 seasons of madmen for like 50 cents each.

I’m not as big of a fan of the later seasons but I’m sure I’ll hunt them down eventually.

Azrael was really good. Watched it on Shudder and will definitely pick up the disc.

The Boy And The Heroin is me after being prescribed oxycodone for pain.

Today I will be in St. Louis for a regional Cardiac Amyloidosis Support Group meeting attended by doctors from several medical systems. Three of my 14 doctors will be among the speakers.

Hopefully, I will learn something and I will get to speak with other patients who have this rare disease. If nothing else, lunch is free.

Sony has introduced a new UHD Blu-ray player in the UK as seen here.

In other news Google has restored the use of my two Chromecast Audio devices. I have a lot of devices that rely on the internet and it seems there is few alternatives for standalone devices. I have added a lot of Wi-Fi, Z-Wave and Zigbee devices but still have a lot of old school X10 with no intention of replacing.

Just for the record I was definitely not referring to cutzlee. it was also not necessarily aimed at flat earthers that was his example of dumb. Even smart people can sometimes believe something ridiculous or make a mistake. It was just a general comment on an unfortunate reality of social media.

If someone is and idiot they click and then feel there are a lot of others out there that agree and so they are enbolden to share their idiocy even more.
