It took 2 weeks from shipment date (when you get the invoice/refund) to get to me in the US for my last purchase, if that helps.

I bought this in the 20% off sale at http://www.jbhifi.com.au so ended up A$223.20. Without a discount https://www.ezydvd.com.au/ have it the cheapest at A$269.97.
Obviously US dollars would be much less after conversion.

My package of Bewitched/IDOJ from Imprint just arrived.

'tis a thing a beauty they are, packaged with care.

I haven't seen much about the release itself here yet, so here are my thoughts.

I didn't buy the Mill Creek release after I saw how bad it was and was very happy once Imprint announced their version. I received mine a week ago or so and am very happy with the quality. The picture is wonderful even though it appears that the prints used are the same as what were on the DVDs. It is true HD unlike the Mill Creek release.

I know some are disappointed at the Season 2 theme not being included and that the skip is still there in the music of the theme in Seasons 2-5. Also the few episodes with replaced music and effects are still present. Even so, it is still a great release and I am very happy with my purchase!! It's the best Jeannie release by far ever!!

I don’t think any, or very little of the Via Vision releases ever come with captions or subtitles. Really annoying as I was looking at the Baron complete series release but decided against for that reason.

My copies of IDOJ and Bewitched Bluray sets both have English subtitles.

You can try Via Vision directly or JB Hi-Fi to see if they ship to Canada. Yes, they are region free.

I’m guessing you are talking about the Imprint sets and not just stuff from Via Vision? There is a difference and I had noticed a definite lack of captions or subtitles. There are some but very infrequent.

Ah, yes. I only buy Imprint titles. Even there, not everything has subtitles. TOA #4, for example, did not, which I found very disappointing.

I really would think at this point, subtitles would be a standard feature. Heck, even AI generated text would be better than nothing, imho. How expensive would that be? (Not saying that I prefer AI to human generated, only that if that was the only option...)

Okay. Was wanting to buy Man In A Suitcase but found out it lacks subtitles so was a bit miffed but saved some money. I have this set due to arrive today. Little scared as I ordered it from Amazon. Diabolik and Orbitdvd run out so fast.
Hoping the fact I bought from a third party will help me getting one undamaged.

Slightly off topic: I am making my way through Frank Capra at Columbia massive Bluray/4k set. Not only does every film have English subtitles, but even the commentaries have subtitles. And - get this - even the Silent Films have HOH subtitles! I couldn't even understand that - what they did was have subtitles explaining the style of music that was playing for each scene. Wow! This set has set the new bar for quantity and quality of subtitling for films. Thought you would appreciate this.

Uh, It Happened One Night. The Lost Horizon. Mr. Deeds goes to Town. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Platinum Blonde.

Any of those sound familiar?

And now the waiting starts.

Here has been my experiencing in ordering from Australia to the US

Phase 1: Order arrives in the US within 2-3 days. Wow! How did they do that?

Phase 2: Order meanders through the USPS system for 10-20 days until it eventually arrives on my porch. Whoa! Why did it take so long?

Already this morning, I've had a very friendly response confirming that their customer service team can absolutely help me with that, but they need the tax invoice to be generated first, which won't happen until the package ships out, so they said they'd follow up with me when that happens. I have no idea how much the refund will be yet, but I'm happy to wait for it.
Following up on this, my order ending up shipping in two parcels, with everything except Jeannie shipping a week or so ago and Jeannie shipping today. I thought I'd need to follow back up with the customer service rep I got the nice email from, but I just got a proactive email from her confirming that she refunded the GST since the tax invoices were generated. It ended up being just over $22 USD, which may not be life-changing, but it's more than I expected.
