Colors look a little richer on the Second Sight UHD.

I wish the Second Sight had the Atmos track from the Turbine. As it is, I think I'd rather get the Turbine, because I personally notice sound field upgrades more than I think I will notice the PQ upgrade in this case, but I honestly am not 100% sure if that's the right call. I was going to get the Well Go USA release because it's incredibly cheap, but I think I will just hold out longer and eventually buy one of the better releases from overseas.

Question: According to imdb, the movie was mixed in Dolby digital. So, is the atmos a remix or an original audio?

I don't even even see a pq upgrade with the SecondSight over the Turbine based on the comparison. I'd pick the Turbine pq wise. Compression is a total wash (didn't even bother pixelpeeping and the Turbine might even be better), the SecondSight is slightly cropped, the SecondSight often looks too red to my eyes and there were also crushed blacks on the SecondSight somewhere. tl/dr: I prefer the Turbine pq wise going by the comparison, so if one cares about Atmos, there's no question what to pick really. Just saying. Oh, and then there's also the IMHO better artwork with the Turbine.

I liked the art on the Turbine steelbook best with the red and the fact that it has an Atmos track. Not sure if that Atmos track would make a difference to me or not though. I may just break down and buy the Second Sight though since it's my favourite film from Brandon and I don't want to cheap out with the standard US version as I love FiM encodes.

Good luck finding the steelbook. I got the Turbine mediabook. The picture quality is fantastic.

I was outbid by the last second by someone on eBay for it before the second sight was announced. I wanted it because it has Atmos and Dolby Vision but I'm probably not prepared to pay what they want for it even if I do find it.
