Finally watched The Shallows. Seeing what happened to that leg, and all the blood loss, that was rough.
It's like a torture film really with what she goes through. Salt water for wounds, that's torture right there.

Not a fun movie, but intriguing seeing her try to get back to land.

I agree. It made me grimace more than much gorier films. I really wanted to look away several times. Probably the hardest film to watch I've seen so far. Kind of crazy that it's only rated PG-13.

Caught this on tv last night, I was so intrigued, I just decided to watch it, and that seldom happens with me. I loved it. It was scary, I was on the edge of my seat a lot, and yes, I almost wanted to watch away or stop watching it altogether and often wondered why she couldn't try to swim away. I do wonder though,

[Show spoiler]why was she pulled down so hard and fast by the last chain? Is it like it was so tense that when it was broken away it was like a physical reaction? It was a metal chain though, it wasn't pulled that hard all that time that a sudden release would cause that?
