JW: Rebirth, the most anticipated even after Dominion? Color me surprised.

Can't think of another explanation other than that Dominion was liked by general audiences and hated only by movie buffs and critics. It did cross the billion-dollar mark worldwide, after all.

Will a lot of Marvel fans support a Fantastic Four movie in theaters?
It seems the film's first trailer did well with audiences, so things seem positive for this new film about the 4 heroes with unique abilities.

I am going to see it, although I need to see a 2nd trailer to know what they're up against aside from a gigantic villain. Galactus absorbs the Energon from the Earth and it's up to the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer to stop him.

Silver Surfer will be a woman in this new film from what I see in the cast. I am surprised but I guess it goes with the comic books based on Shalla Bal

Back in 1994, Marvel hired Roger Corman and his team to produce a Fantastic Four movie. It reminded me of the lower budget style and costumes of the Teenage MNTurtles movie from the 1990s classic. The main villain was Dr. Doom. The Thing was really depressed in much of the film for being a rock person. It was an interesting movie, although the effects and action had room for improvement.

The 1994 movie was set to premiere, had promotional advertisements, and then just before anything could be booked to theaters, the film was canceled and disappeared from sight. Turns out it was a placeholder. The actors involved were not informed and had to deal with the situation.
