My copies of Blonde Goddess and Her Body arrived a couple of weeks ago. Her Body was really good, have not started on BG yet.

I know we're getting a couple of new releases April 1st, as well.

Thrilled by the thought of a new Final Destination movie.

Will venture to theaters to see Final Destination Bloodlines.

Just another Distribpix title sadly, at least that’s what they have named so far. It’s been a crapfest imo, a real shortage of Golden Age stuff.

My new subwoofer should arrive on Saturday. Now I just have to coral some of my able-bodied friends to bring this 100 pound beastie inside. I still can't lift more than 10 lbs.

Also, a very generous friend and fellow forum member sent me a nice RCA cable designed for subwoofers to connect the REL 1510 Predator to my Marantz AVR.

I guess I can start thinking about what settings will be involved on both ends to get it all up and running.

Yeah, and I've heard Tony Todd (r.i.p.) is in it. Don't know how big his part is though.

Had to look that one up, first hit was this one. Hard to believe a company would push this off on consumers. It appears to be nothing more than basic RG59 cable with a copper clad steel center conductor meaning a PITA for routing under baseboards, inside cabinets, etc. And that signal loss graphic, what a crock!!!

For those that don’t know, RG59 has very little loss at 100 feet and 1 MHz (1,000,000 Hz) in frequency. That is 10,000 times the frequency needed for a sub-woofer.

Still a very nice thing to do.

I agree. I just wanted folks to be aware of marketing gimmicks. That one is in the same class as “TV antenna for HD”. The antenna receives RF, it does not know if it is telemetry, NTSC TV, ATSC TV, etc.

Can wait for a 4K blind buy shoot out of The Monkey and Bloodlines, who will win most elaborate death scene? Looking forward to finding out, avoided all trailers.

Purchased Flow on iTunes because my kids are excited to see it. I have a feeling the pre ordered criterion 4K doesn't come with a digital copy because I can't remember the last time a criterion release came with a digital copy.

Him and his voice in the trailer was magical.

It was a generous gift just the same.

If subwoofer designed RCA cables are "a crock", then you'll love this offering from AudioQuest:

Look at the price for the 5 meter length, which is what I needed.

Not sure about those two, but the death scene that still to this day sticks with me the most is Bone Tomahawk. If you have seen the movie, you know what I am talking about.

I agree and hats off to he or she that made the gift. Always nice to see members doing for one another.

This one will work just as well and probably much more flexible.

In general I construct my analog audio and video cables. Audio from a very flexible coaxial cable, video from Belden 1505A. Connectors from Kings, Canare and MCM. Because my audio coax is no longer available I used this cable to connect my two subs thus saving my remaining stock. 10' from AVP to Keystone and 25' from Keystone (RCA Female) to Sub(s). No hum even with ear right next to driver. I was prepared to construct balanced cables if I had a hum problem.

Added quite a few to my collection. Pre-ordered the following:

This one chafes a little. Just bought the Umbrella special edition but this release is stacked so I can't pass it up. Plus Second Sight.

Got these from Amazon on sale:

And got these from GameFly used:

Yes he was, and his mustache was on point as well. Richard Jenkins was also outstanding in it.
