Two of the three City-Kawajiri movies finally got released by DYBEX.

Both titles feature:
- Steelbook for the discs
- Audio tracks: JP, DE, FR (all DTS-HDMA)
- Subtitle tracks: DE, FR, NL

Pianeta Zero really upped their game following all the (very well deserved) criticism of their Demon Slayer S1 discs for Dybex, so the encodes here should be solid at least.

DS discs were not even that bad when compared to the usual competitors throughput. If you factor in the fact that people who claim so also awards the title of best distributor to All The Anime every year, it may make you reconsider

I think it just shows that some distributors accept customers input, while others just throw any such thing straight to the trash and optionally flip the finger if it makes a bit too much fuss.

Demon City Shinjuku is planned for May 28*

Akin to Wicked City, it contains the entire storyboard (152 pages) and a second b&w settei booklet (100 pages) JP, DE, FR audio and DE, FR, NL subtitles. No steelbook - probably because it's the least popular of the three.
Wicked and Demon City are evidently based on the Toei Video Limited Editions.

*Crunchyroll Vertrieb (ex AV-Visionen) lists the three titles for April 4.

They could, but that would mean having FUNimation branding, and we can't have people knowing the company's prior name. In fact, that might be why they removed the commentaries unless this is an error. Someone must have said "I'm from FUNimation."

I also checked, and Sentai listed clean opening and closings for their original release of Log Horizon S2, while Crunchyroll's release lists nothing.

Same Blu-ray discs as the Forever B1tch Edition, so it has English subtitles and dub. The CD and booklet are missing however.

The 1987 movie Neo Tokyo (also known as Meikyū Monogatari or Manie-Manie) directed by Rintarō, Kawajiri and Ōtomo will get a Blu-ray release in France. The distributor has not yet stated if this was a new scan or a an upscale. Akin to The Dagger of Kamui, there are no Blu-ray available (yet) and the licensor is Kadokawa. We can only hope they did a two birds one stone-thing and scanned the original film of this Rintaro movie.

I'd wager Neo-Tokyo will use the HD transfer from the HDTV airings or U-NEXT given that Dagger of Kamui seemingly uses the HDTV remaster as well

Yeah, even though these don't have BD releases, they do have HD versions that were broadcast (there are other anime in that situation as well, like Psycho Diver and the 90s Casshern OVAs, IIRC).
