These things come out of nowhere sometimes. I mean Dropzone?! That means it could have been Blue Thunder, Iron Eagle or Executive Decision. But it's probably never that easy with who owns the rights and all. I'd probably take Money Train or Striking Distance over this one if we're just naming random so so actioners. Nice box art.

Titles like this and Congo make me think that these guys will be releasing Hard Rain at some point.

Oh man, Hard Rain would be awesome. One of the last old-school style blockbusters with tons of practical effects. Then The Matrix came along and killed action cinema.

Drop Zone is fun. I'm glad that VS is releasing 90s studio films in between all these low-budget horror movies I don't care about.

I'd rather have Black Rain. (Seriously, the night city scenes could really pop in HDR).

I don't remember much about Drop Zone but I don't think I hated it.

I feel the same way! I love Drop Zone! But, Iron Eagle needs URGENT attention. The movie is a GEM!!

Iron Eagle is truly a timeless classic.. considering the premise of 16yr olds hacking a military base and borrowing some F-16’s is more realistic now than ever.

I still rock (most of) the soundtrack to this day. Drop Zone.. eh maybe.
