I think the epitome of this whole Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, and of Nintendo’s greediness, is how they are charging for what’s essentially a very short and simple demo (the ‘Welcome Tour’). All of the reviewers seem to agree it should have been free given how basic it is and how little it offers. Nintendo needs a reality check.

Sony included Astro Bot Playroom for free with every PS5, yet Nintendo wants people to buy this... Interactive instructional manual? Keep it. |

Riiiight, the Congress of cucks is going to grow a backbone? No, small handful will express "concern," but keep voting for all of his agenda on party line votes. That party has been completely purged over the past 8 years and the opposition is as toothless and rudderless as it gets.

I mean let’s not pretend Sony doesn’t nickel and dime their customers. $800 for a pro with disc drive is nuts, $30 extra for a vertical stand lol

Nintendo won me back in a big way with the portability and excellent third party support with the Switch. The Switch 2 rollout has been a mess, bit I'd still say Nintendo is better positioned against Sony and vastly better positioned against Microsoft (who I don't know will even make another console). Though I'm not happy with the key card BS, which I do think a lot of third party developers will opt for who otherwise would have released physical games. |

Diversification is smart, but there's no real regional diversification there and all 3 are current or former communist countries. I get that it's MUCH more nuanced than that, but Trump doesn't understand nuance and will likely lump all those countries together to some degree with tariffs.

Reckon I'll just use the NS2 as a handheld so stuff like the dock I'll probably sell it, don't really care to play on the TV (not bothered about the 4K selling point, that's not why we buy Nintendo consoles for).
I've already ordered case, screen protector, and cover so all set for when it arrives. |

List of Switch games by release category. And yes, unbelievably enough, the Breath of the Wild Switch 2 release really doesn't include the DLC. Latest info seems to indicate that the Switch 2 editions of first party Switch games WILL have all content on the cartridge, but doesn't appear a certainty.
Physical release (all content apparently on cartridge): Mario Kart World Donkey Kong Bananza Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Yakuza 0: Director's Cut Physical release (with disclaimers): The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (does NOT include any DLC) The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Conflicting info as to whether Switch 2 version has everything on cart) Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV (Conflicting info as to whether Switch 2 version has everything on cart) Kirby and The Forgotten Land + Star Crossed World (Conflicting info as to whether Switch 2 version has everything on cart) Physical release (but with download needed for additional content/DLC): Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar Game Key Card (fake physical/digital BS): Street Fighter 6: Year 1-2 Fighters Edition Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Survival Kids Shine Post: Be Your Idol |

What happens when a game gets delisted and you insert its Game Key Card on the Switch 2? It'd be pretty bad if you paid for it and nothing happened at all.
I guess you could get a refund. |
