I would never make that mistake. My beard was over 12 inches long not long ago, but shaved it down to maybe an inch or two. The good thing is it will grow back.....last time I checked, you can't lose beard hair like you can with the hair on your head....I should know.

Problem is, even facial hair irritates me. So I can't really win. I wish I could grow a long beard. Don't worry, I'll be trying all over again from this "reset" as I have already proclaimed that I'll never shave again after last night

Do you use a beard oil? Regardless how long it gets, the oil is as much for your face under the beard, than the beard itself. Reduces irritation and some smell pretty good too...more "manly" if you will.

My girlfriend likes vanilla, so I use a vanilla beard oil all the time....she loves it and finds excuses to get close to my beard.

I have used it, though not as routine as I should have. I'll be making some changes... lol

I hated nights like that as I can't function on anything less than 6 hours. I worked graveyard for about 8 months early in my career in the late 90s. My body eventually started rejecting the hours a couple of months in. It got to the point that I was only sleeping 1 hour, some days not at all. Fortunately my boss put me on swing shift (3 am - 12 am) which worked out much better for me at the time. Worse thing about it was I lost about 55 lbs of hard earned muscle that I spent the better part of 9 years packing on.

My daughter likes to criticize me by saying I have a "baby face" whenever I shave, and when I don't shave she calls me that weird, fat guy from The Hangover lol. Can't win I guess. I stopped shaving my head at the end of last year when I started therapy for my depression. Not sure if the two are connected but, it feels good to let my hair grow out again, at least until it starts interfering with my hat wearing lol

Anyway, catching up on a couple AT thru-hike videos on YouTube and checking my e-mail, while I get ready for work tonight.

I never looked my age. I always looked about 5-10 years younger. if anyone can correctly guess my age in said picture, I will surely give them a 4k out of my collection (yes, I'm that confident). No, I did not. If it's anything like what I've posted I'm in. Sans the naughty. I mean I would be down for it, but I don't think James is going to let them do that. Plus, I don't think dolls can support a third leg.
