Do most NPCs say at least 2 different things if you keep talking to them? Grandia did that too.

Yeah, there may be a few exceptions but pretty everyone has a second response when you talk to them again.

Have to say I’m not a fan of bosses scaling to match your level, kind of makes leveling up pointless if the difficulty is basically fixed.
