The SDE-exclusive slipcase is sweet but the exchange rate to CAD right now sucks major balls, so I'm going to go with Warner Canada for the Rhino release and hope that batch 3 of the Atmos Blu-rays is announced before April so I can get those all in on a bulk order to save on shipping.

Great news, I've listened to the Atmos mix of When Doves Cry and the mix sounds good but I'm sure will be more enjoyable listening to the lossless version.

I agree. I think it comes to a total of $44 which is a lot for a slipcase. The only reason I'd consider it is that it might make it worth more later as a rare collectible.

The Chris James Atmos mix has been up on Apple Music for a number of months. I think he also mixed 'Diamonds and Pearls' for Atmos.

It's... definitely a big departure from the stereo mix we know and love.

I kinda wish Steven Wilson could take a crack at it...

EDIT: I just read that the the 1984 stereo mastering will be on there in 96/24. If that's present, and it isn't brickwalled, I'm in.

The menu is the poster art, with animated smoke. Play album along with track selection and audio selection options.

Two audio tracks:

Dolby Atmos (TrueHD 7.1) (48/24)
LPCM 2.0 (96/24)

I haven't yet played it.

Somewhat odd review...however where it counts, the audio seems impressive and immersive as expected.

Not that i needed any further push, but I'll probably go ahead and purchase it sometime this week.

Just put the disc on and I am up to Computer Blue now. I have my subwoofer set really low because a lot of bass gives me a headache and this thing still kicks.

Sounds great. Lyrics are far more audible than I have ever heard before. All the instruments sound better. Surround activity is ok. Overall, this is what it sound like when BDA discs are done right.

I'm super happy to report that they have not crushed the dynamic range on the 96/24 stereo track.

Really enjoyed the surround mix of I Would Die 4 U, can't comment on the low end as both of my Paradigm Servo 15v2 subs are in getting re-capped. I miss them dearly, it's been almost a month.

Today I'm going to pick up a Paradigm Studio SUB 15 (https://www.paradigm.com/en/sealed/studio-sub-15) used to move to 7.3.4, hopefully my front subs will be ready Tuesday or Wednesday. I've been looking forward to jumping to a three sub set-up for a long time.
