If you want exclusive steels from Amazon, order them with gift wrapping if you want to guarantee a box and padding.

Of course, the one thing I was actually excited for (The Place Beyond the Pines) seems to not be happening this month. Same thing happened with the 2 Coen brothers movies that we still haven’t actually even gotten yet smh

Fade To Black has a new 2025 scan? That alone might be enough to get me to upgrade. I could swear the VS release was a 4K.

Abigail has been getting mostly positive feedback but I'm going to watch the Blu-ray I picked up on sale a few weeks ago to see if I want to double dip. The majority of these newer movies that are overhyped tend to severely underwhelm me.

I wonder which version of Ace Ventura will be released? I still have my DVD copy because I love the "Dolphin Trainer" scene.

Not sure if it's a new scan per se, as it just says new restoration. So perhaps they jsut applied HDR/DV to the same source scan VS used?

Abigail is a pretty enjoyable movie in my opinion but YMMV. Should look great in 4K as well.

Is THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES 4K just not happening in July now? I see it for preorder at Orbit but nowhere else.

They're 100% the same person. Not only the same exact kind of posts, and Driver appearing right after C84's final exit, there's a Driver78 post unless he deleted it, where he came out and admitted he was C84, cause most long timers already suspected/basically knew (it was super obvious).

I went down this rabbit hole all the way back to DVD and it's never had any extras produced. So shout would've been starting from scratch. They made the determination it wasn't worth the time or resource effort tracking down any cast or crew, that it would add nothing of significance to sales, and/or they had lower sales expectations anyway so couldn't be bothered. They could've made a minimal of effort and paid peanuts to some physics professor to comment on the time travel aspects, or there's numerous Van damme biographers/afficionados or that action movie guy Mike Malloy they could've recorded a cheap commentary for. Now Timecop will never have any extras.

I didn't admit to anything. I've already explained what unfolded. You're just looking for a fight. Good luck with that.

I'm in for Abigail for sure. Will be preordering that one. I do kind of wish they mixed up the artwork a bit. Having the same image on the poster and on the slipcover and on the case itself gets a little bit much...

I guess I just remembered the 'Member' part and didn't pay much attention since. I don't read everything in this forum any more because it just isn't fun to read the arguments. Which is why I wait until a little after the release of new discs so that the heat is hopefully calmed down a little if the topic is controversial.

However, it doesn't seem to work that well. I was derided in the Aliens thread about my thoughts to wait until now to ask (I saw a sale that I could have gone with the UHD, but I wanted to make sure what they thought at this point). I knew there was a lot of stuff in there, and I posted last year, maybe, but I wanted to test the waters and see if someone would be kind enough to let me know without having to sift through that whole thread. That just ticked people off. It's difficult to find answers here when people prefer using the whole site to vent. I was exactly the same when I started posting. I vented a lot of stuff. I still think those people were doing what I complained that they were, but I should have left it alone.

Been here for five years and I guess I just don't want to fight. Not much, anymore, anyway. I want to have conversations instead of arguments that don't go anywhere.

You tricked me. But that's...okay.

I noticed your picture was the same for a while but you just seem different. Can't say it's positive or negative. Just different. I haven't paid a lot of attention to individual gripes against other individuals all that much. I stopped doing that because it just gets old to have altercations with people. Heck, it's been rather recently that I have decided to just leave it alone. I was bringing up a certain individual all the time because what they said about my favorite movie was just ridiculous, but I thought I should just shut up and not let it get to me. This person has been somewhat contradictive, which I usually have a problem with, but I just stopped. It's just stupid to keep things boiling.

I still bring up certain YouTubers that tick me off...but they also had some disparaging words for this forum, so I keep bringing their name to the fire.

I could be 100% wrong about a 'different' 'aura' because apparently everyone knew who you were...are. Is? Maybe it's just your profile picture changed and it made an impact? I know I said I was using a nicer way to give the feelings I have about your current profile, persona. I can't find a way to explain it. Sorry.

Wasn't to me. Or, perhaps, I never had a problem with them...?

It's probably best to ignore them...everyone who tries to draw you in. There's a certain person on this forum who likes to make remarks to me that seem targeted. I told them the other day that I don't put people on ignore lists, but I told them I will no longer respond to their replies. I should have done that after they basically called me a creep in the Katherine Langford thread for my gushing over that actress. I spoilered my own comment about feeling like I was a creep, and they decided to respond. I asked exactly what they felt was creepy about me and they refused, so, basically a bully/troll situation. They have a habit of posting a few times, then once I reply, they delete a couple of the posts. The claim is that what they said in their initial reply was enough.

I clicked the Report icon, had half a sentence typed out, but decided to just deal with them myself. It's not a big enough deal to get mods involved. Hopefully your detractors and you find a way to live in peace.

Ordered Ace Ventura and Grave of the Fireflies(Steelbook). Hope we get the second Ace Ventura movie and The Mask in this new WB deal. Also the Jackie Chan movies WB owns. Passing on the Jet Li movies because I imported all of them last year from 88 Films. Love this new Sublabel for Hong Kong movies and @ShoutFactoryOfficial I hope you can make a Sublabel for Toku that is maybe TokuSHOUTsu in physical media form?

Shout is finally doing their Morgan Creek catalogue? Maybe we'll finally get Pacific Heights, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves soon.

Is Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves possible from Shout Factory? I loved that movie as a kid and would jump on a 4k release if it happened.
