I have ordered from them a few times and they always ship prior to street date. I've gotten all pre-orders at least 1 week, sometimes 2 weeks, before the street date in hand. They charge right away, not when it ships and so far customer service has responded quickly to questions. I've never had any issues, just questions about shipping rates as I must have ordered from them when they first opened last summer so they were still figuring things out. They ship in standard mailers for 1 or 2 items, and in boxes for more than that.
I've purchased some in-stock items and some pre-orders at the same time to save on shipping and they will ship them separately, but in stock items ship closer to the release date of the pre-order (not right away) but still earlier than the pre-orders. The prices have gone up a bit since last summer, but for similar prices or (often) less than Amazon, and to get them early, it has been very worth it. |

I placed an order on June 27th (1st time). Figured I'd test it out to see if they were legit. They're sketchy... Ordered 3 different SKUs, but 5 items total. All of which stated they were in stock, and if ordering multiples it would essentially say how many were available to order. Welll, they charge you right then & there (just like UV used to) and they physically do not have this stock. I followed up after a couple of weeks, and they said they were still waiting on stock from studios despite showing these items as being in stock. Once a full month passed this past week, I followed up & they said that 3 of the 5 items they didn't have and are now refunding me for those.
Personally, I despise the pay up-front model. It shows that this entity has no money on hand. Likely someone working out of their basement. Both Archambault currently does this and UV used to do this: wouldn't have stock, then have essentially no one to manage these old pre-paid orders, so if you didn't contact to reach out for a refund on unshipped items, you'd lose out on that cash. I'd love to support a smaller company like this, but not if this is how they operate. Wastes my time. |

Horrible customer service - I ordered something from they 5 weeks ago and I can't get in touch with them. I received 1 reply stating they were waiting for an order to come in but that was 3 weeks ago and i've requested updates since and I'm being ignored... their low prices is a trap ... I would not recommend giving them any business.

Ordered a few 'in-stock' movies a few weeks ago that are still listed as 'unfulfilled'. Contacted support to make sure it wasn't an error and they said they order 'direct from the supplier so we are awaiting to receive that'. Sounds like a 1-person operation that signed up for some distributor accounts and only makes a wholesale order once enough orders come in - like a crowdfunded operation. I'll give it 1 more week until I forcefully get my money back. |
