Lost Soul Aside (PS5,PC) coming 2025

I was excited about this title, back when it was first revealed. But it's been so long now, the game doesn't even look all that special to me anymore. I would be happy to be proven wrong though.

Looks like we’ll have to wait to meet Kaser for just a while longer. A month away from release, PlayStation and Ultizero Games’ Lost Soul Aside has been delayed into August in order to polish the final product. The action-adventure RPG was recently at PlayStation’s State of Play in February with a new trailer showcasing its flashy Devil May Cry-inspired combat, and a release date of May 30th.

Instead of it’s originally scheduled May 30th release, Lost Soul Aside will now launch on August 29th, 2025 for PC and PlayStation 5.

I actually give them credit for doing a delay and working to make it the best they can than risk a release with bugs and issues galore that can tank the reviews and word of mouth. Especially on a new IP that could release later like they plan and do great. The only curiosity i have is whether they will have enough time between any other big IP launches like Borderlands 4 potentially denting their sales.

May 30th isn’t any better, Elden Ring Nightreign releasing the same day and the Switch 2 a few days after, which will most likely hogs all of the gaming news when the embargo lifts

Elden Ring for sure is riding a huge wave of popularity right now and it doesn't come bigger than the Switch 2 launch, so maybe you're right, delaying from those 2 storms helps and i'd probably feel more confident with Borderlands 4 to only really contend with not long after because if my game reviews well, probably sell a good amount.
