Never mind it flattens dynamic range and pushes everything into distortion.

Raise your volume knob. That's what it's there for.
Slight spoiler for Nope 2022...

Different movie, but I did that on my last viewing of Nope 2022, and the voices during the part just after The Star Lasso Experience were too dull to hear. Turning up the volume crushed the experience as to what is supposed to be there. I don't want to get into detail, as if you haven't seen the movie, it might give away spoilers... I rewound the scene and turned it back down to the regular level I usually have it at, and I could hear what was being said. I just wanted to have a louder experience with the movie and was disappointed vastly by one of my favorite sequences being out of range once it was turned up. It's very strange.

I much prefer Twisters over Citizen Kane.

Reference quality disc!

Plus, I prefer this over the OG...

Yup.
I gotta agree. It's much better than the original. And I loved the original for well over two decades. Then I noticed some wooden acting... Don't worry about that CatWoman, she's often scratching too many fleas, which can be a grand distraction. Makes 'em a little ticky, too, unfortunately.

The movie theater sequence alone gives this a leg up.
Three decades ago I would have shook my head at this mere idea, but I have seen so many better showcases of effects and the comedy of the original is just too teenage to me at this point.

I'm pretty sure it was Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder who were blind...you're forgetting about the effects; Twisters CGI was far better as well.

You're just upset that the tint wasn't more friendly, or as green, with the injection you're about to give yourself.
[Show spoiler]By the way, it really ticks me off that the UHD of that movie doesn't have the other version with Dr. West injecting himself.
