Now, I might be misremembering things here, but does anyone recall if the 1080p disc was one of those studio releases from this era where, during the end credits, it would abruptly begin that countdown in the corner of the screen to skip the credits (a la streaming shows)?
I could have sworn this title featured that when I watched it back in late '21/early '22 - I'd never seen it before on a disc, and it stood out like a sore thumb here due to the shadow puppet display that runs alongside the credits - but rewatching it on a whim last night I was pleasantly surprised to not have to worry about that at all during the credits this time. Has there perhaps been some push to disable that feature via firmware updates over the past few years? |
