Congratulations? Not surprising as many BD's seem to be getting early releases lately.

I have it, it comes in just a regular jewel case, but it's just like a standard 3 disc set. All the discs have different artwork. Nothing really special.

No it's just like a regular Blu ray release, no slim cases. Of course all are Blu Ray. The case is like, say you have a Blu ray that comes with the BD, DVD copy, and Digital Copy, that's how it's cased.

So the 3 movies are not in individual Blu-ray cases (3 seperate Blu-ray cases)?

They're in 1 Blu-ray case for all 3 movies?

I was hoping to do the same just keep Hannibal & sell the other 2 movies.

That sucks. If so now I have to wait for Hannibal to be sold seperately.

Manhunter for me as well. Lambs was okay (picked it up cheap) but Hopkins can't hold a candle to Brian Cox in my opinion, and Demme is no Mann. Hannibal was just plain terrible.

Yeah, just a regular case. Pretty plain, a box set like Bourne would have made this release 10x better.

Is the Silence of the Lambs still the MPEG-2 version that was released earlier?

Also what video & audio encoding is Hannibal?

+1.

Also, can anyone confirm which cut of Manhunter has been used for this release? There's an original theatrical version and a "director's preferred version". (Various other hybrid versions have been shown on TV and Anchor Bay released a hybrid version on DVD in 2001, which was erroneously described as the theatrical version.)

The most recent DVD release was by MGM and was the original theatrical version, so I'm guessing that's the version they've used for this BD. But it would be good to know for sure.

Apparently its the theatrical version. But if anyone can confirm this and any extras it may have?
