A To Z. Left To Right. Except for The Dark Knight. I put that one right next to Batman Begins.

Mine are arranged alphabetically with a few exceptions:

Dark Knight is next to Batman Begins, under B.
All the 007 films are under B, for Bond, and arranged chronologically, except for Casino Royale, which is under C.
And all "number" films are put alphabetically too, so 300 is under T, for example.

I have my three bond films first for 007. I honestly only did that so I could have my only steelbooks at the front of my shelf (although I did NOT do the same for dvds, my Departed steelbook is under D)

I have shelves for Blus and shelves for DVDs. All in alphabetical order, but series are together. For instance, "Batman Begins" and "Dark Knight" are next to one another.

Pretty much exactly the same for me, too. DVDs are actually behind my BDs now on the shelf. Alphabetical order of titles, starting with numbers (example: "2001: A Space Odyssey" is my first BD title). "Batman Begins" and "Dark Knight" are together in the "B" title area of my discs, and my three "Soundstage Presents" concert BDs are together in the "S" titles.

There is quite a bit of variation here from different people on the forums, I've noticed!

Alphabetical. I don't keep series together, unless, of course, they are in a boxed set or are titled the same with numbers after them. I do not have Batman Begins and The Dark Knight together, but I guess my collection is small enough for me to find whatever I'm looking for.

To be honest I never thought of that.

I might just do that.

It would be nice to have some series together (for example, all 3 Sapphire Series together), but I have found alphabetical the most convenient for me. I also organized my DVDs by genre once, but my Blu collection is not varied enough for that (80% of my Blus are action).

I'm completely anal about the order of my collection. It is in alphabetical order beginning with standard BD cases and ending with box sets.

Batman Begins is under "B" and The Dark Knight is under "D"

Evne Harold and Kumar even though right next to each other are actually in alphabetical order, placing the sequel before the first movie.

I think alphabetical order would actually drive me crazy. For the most part mine are by genre, with some exceptions for some certain directors and actors--and the directors get priority over actors--oh and series (and some genres) get priority over that (example--Batman movies are with the superhero movies not with Tim Burton or Christopher Nolan flicks, and Fight Club with will be Fincher and not with my Ed Norton movies). Within the grouping, I put them chronologically (especially with the director and actor groupings).

I guess like it better because it's easier to select something when I'm in a mood for certain type of movie, and being tied to alphabetical will separate movies in a series.
