It seems that the PA120 / as is the same as the Acoustic Audio is highly praised on here, which also has a great price for the 12"er, but only sales in Maple and it will not match my other speakers. So it is out of the question.
I am a total believer in "
budget setup"

So right now, I got $450.00 that's burning a whole in my pocket itching for a sub.
My living / music / HT-room is 17' x 22', but my listening area is about 13' away for TV. So this is the projected area where I want my sound to be in.
I know there is many talk about SvS and I owned for a little while a PB10-NSD and while it was good, I got rid of it pretty fast. I sold it because it had something to do with a hummmmm coming out of the amp that was very annoying. I was told it was a ground-loop issue and I got a plug to bypass that and it was still there. Used other plug outlets and still was there. So I just liquidated it off to someone else. I am sure SvS would have fixed it, but I didn't want the headache or shipping an sub big / heavy as an Leatherback Turtle.
So off I go to another adventure of "sub-shopping".
Notice there not much talk on here about HSU or EarthQuake. I am looking at trying HSU pretty hard. I hear even their 8" does an awesome job for a behind the couch sub. Maybe two- it would even be better

.
The other subs I recently owned are: Cadence CSX15 loved it, great impact, but only good for movies (not musical), Velodyne VRP1200 (ok for what it was / nothing to shine and brag about in any way) & old skool DCM-10 (back in the days / entry level).
Oh, before I forget.... I was considering ED A2-300, but the wait time is too long. So I am going to pass on that.
Music is becoming a huge part of me. When I opt to go stereo / 2-channel I let my Northridges go to work, but I do seek some more bass. The 8" drivers on my R60s are nice, but I just need little more UMP. In movies... I want mo'UMP
I'll be using this sub for: 60% music / 40% movies / 20% added bonus when I need mo' bass in movies :P.
Ok........ so the suggestions?
Thanks
